  • Testing Cor-Bon 380 ACP 90 Grain JHP

I finished my Cor-Bon testing with the 380 ACP JHP load. This completes the trilogy of PowR'Ball, DPX, and JHP.

Thx again for another insightful test report! Never been fond of the "expensive" CorBon rounds, but in a pinch, I think they would do. Personally, I think the other American Ammo manufacturers have passed them by. Just one man's opinion!

Thanks for another fantastic review...personaly looking forward to the gold dot standard vs. short barrel review...always wondered if there was any real difference between the two, or just a marketing ploy...guess we will see.

anyway, keep up the nice work!

+1... and side by side out of a short barrel like the CM9.
Weird tests out there using long barrels to test the GDSB.
Not concerned about ultimate fps, just that the sort barrel design gets the penetration and expansion from the shorter gun, as claimed.
        Thanks!

I have velocity data from both the GDHP and GDSBHP 124 +P with a PM9, but I'm on the road this week and don't have access to it. From memory, neither could top HST 124 +P velocities. I have not had the chance to do a denim and gel test on either round yet. When I do test it will be with the PM9.
