  • Magtech Sport 9mm 115 gr?

Anyone have experience shooting these? Looking hard for a case of 9mm and found these and have no experience with them. Says FMJ in description. Non-corrosive, brass case, boxer primed, reloadable. Advertised as target and practice ammo. I'm looking for something to break in my NEW K9 ELITE '03!

Any feedback on this ammo is appreciated!

yea dirty but good shooting if a small kahr is broke in. 115gr can cause issues with many new kahrs smaller kahrs no matter the brand. Buy it and try it but if you have any feeding /cycleing issues its not the ammo but the bullet weight. I like to shoot 100 rounds of 124gr first then shot whats evers cheap for basic handgun drills. 124gr is getting harder to find right now.

THANKS, guys. This is exactly the type of information I hoped to find!! I will look for 124gr, even if it is more expensive. My wife will also be breaking in the Shield. Based on what you've said, it would likely be better with 124gr at first, unless this is just a Kahr thing.

I just noticed that their full case (1000 ct) item is sold out. Moving fast!

              Thanks for the reply, NoBite.

Prices are on the rise. As recently as a week ago, I was purchasing 9mm for $200 per 1000, delivered. I will pass on this one.

I know you're right. I bought a 1,000 for a pistol class not long ago and paid just a bit more than you did. Let's hope this is a temporary panic-buy situation.
