Other than my SD rounds, Blazer Brass is the only thing I shoot now in any of my 9x19 or .45ACP guns. Went through a bunch of aluminum in 9x19 a while back - no problems with it either, but the one and only indoor range I ever went to bans it for some reason.

Since they probably sell the brass hulls to a recycler either they or the recycler does not want the hassle of seperating out the brass from the aluminium.

Works fine in revolver and semi-auto calibers. The 9 mm seems to me dirtier than the 45 acp - have not tried the 40 S&W.

Haven't shot any yet but the "Independence" brass case that I bought just at the end of the year has a Blazer headstamp that causes me no concern. Got the 1000 at $250 shipped but took a month from Target Sports.
It's the stakes, not the odds.

Thanks for all the responses folks. I tried that Palmetto State Armory site someone mentioned but alas they are now out also. Wish I could have gotten some at $14.99/ box. I bid on a couple of lots on Gunbroker and got both of them. FIgured somebody would outbid me on at least one but I've now got 2 - 350 rd boxes coming to me at $160 per box. Very pricey but I could not find it anywhere and the local box stores don't have any or the LGS's. Crazy days but at least I'm set for awhile. Now I hope it works in my Kahr, Ruger and Sig. I had shot the aluminum cased previously but not the brass so I figure it ought to work ok.

            Thanks again for the info.

My how times change. In December I was buying the 350-rd boxes of 9mm Blazer Brass at my local farm store for $79.99 apiece. Now I wish I had bought a lot more than I did - shelves were bare last time I was in a few weeks ago.

I sure as heck hope we get some reason to the madness soon. Range time will be shortened considerably for me at this price. At least I found some .380 at Cabela's yesterday for somewhat reasonable price.

You guys looking for 380 ammo, Palmetto State Armory has Blaser Brass for $20.99 a box right now, not cheap, buy $5.00 cheaper than local gun shops around here. Hope some of you that are looking for 380 get some.

Happened to stop by my LFS (local farm store) today. Went by the gun section just to check on how much dust had been piling up on the ammo shelves. Was very surprised to see maybe 50 large (350-rd) boxes of Blazer Brass 9x19 for $90 each, and a smaller supply of large boxes of .40 S&W as well.

                    Very good sign!

I'm not short of 9x19 at the moment, but it seemed prudent to throw a box in the shopping cart anyway (that's all they will let you buy at one time for now) because I would really hate for those nasty hoarders to get any.
