  • Wolf Gold 45ACP 185gr. sjhp

I tried some Wolf Gold 185gr. SJHP in my CM45 yesterday. Accuracy was good.

The gun was freshly cleaned, had 100 rounds through it at this point, and it was about 75f at the range with a light north breeze. The only complaint was that two of the five spent brass cases hit me in the right spectacle lens. Not good for a defensive situation when not wearing eye protection.

Any one else have other experiences with Wolf Gold ammo?

I only use Russian Ammo in Russian or eastern European and Chinese guns. Such as the SKS, AK, Makarov variants, etc. Mostly since so much of it is steel cased and not brass. I'd rather spend a dollar or two more and at least get American made WWB or UMC ammo. Neither of which has caused any problems, unlike my experiences with Wolf, with hang fires, or cartridges not firing at all. This was in a Ruger Mini 30 though, with 7.62 x 39 rifle ammo.

HY*NDAI is to cars, what Caracal, Hi-Point, and Jennings is to handguns. The cars may or may not run ok, but the corporation SUCKS.

Keep showing pictures of that cm45. I ordered one and it ain't here yet buy at least I can see yours.
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

I shot over 800 rounds of nasty tula at $13 a box through a RIA 1911 and never had any troubles. It wasnt that good but at the price for the time it was ok. Dont dnow if I would do it again unless I couldn't get anything else or the price made it really worth it.

Will do. Here's one with Federal 230 gr. FMJ's:

I seem to have pulled a few shots to the right.

I only buy reloadable brass cased ammo. The Tula BrassMax was a little sooty but shot well enough. The WWB was more expensive and shot a little better, so you get what you pay for I guess.

Keep your eye on palmetto state armory. Every month or 2 they have .45 on sale with free shipping. I recently got 500 fiochi for 16.99 a box with free shipping. It was a july 4th sale.
