  • Sellier & Bellot ?

Anyone have any practical experiance using Sellier & Bellot ammo in a Kahr (or in anything else for that matter?)

I'm through the break-in period and feeding rounds just fine in my CW45, I'd like to start running different brands through it and see what this one like best before I stock up. Being the cheap guy I am, I figured I'd ask first and see if anyone has and good or bad experiances with this stuff first. I did search the forums.

I'm hoping it works out, ATG has a screaming deal on it right now (50rds/ $17, 1000/$320) and I'm funny about buying more than I need.

    Thanks in advance

I have shot a about 1500 rounds of the 9mm Sellier & Bellot POLICE 115gr. FMJ Ammo in my Kahr PM9 and S&W 39-2 in the last year no issues with the ammo in either gun

I`ve shot S&B ammunition quite a bit over the last couple of years in my PM9 and my Glock 19.I have had no problems with it at all.The spent cases reload well too.Good all around ammo as far as I`m concerned.I have often wondered what is the correct way to pronounce it though.

I have not used S&B in my PM9 but have shot several hundred rounds thru my current pocket 380.
          It's good ammo.

Shot a lot of 9mm and 38special S&B. Worked ok in my Browning HP's and SP101.

Power levels were unremarkable. Neither hot or slo-poke ammo. Just run of the mill, not too dirty ammo. There could be some claim to accuracy or what not, but I didn't notice anything in that department either.

I've used S&B as practice ammo in various calibers for the last 2 or 3 years and had no problems. Usually one of the cheaper brass cased choices. They have started putting out some XTP hollow point loads aimed at serious social purposes, but I think I'll give it a pass and stick to CorBon.

Many of the big names (winchester comes to mind first) use them for over runs, or orders that they can't fill. It's fine, and it works fine. No worries on it.

Excellent, thank you all very much for your responses! I'm going to go ahead and grab some up while its on sale. If I have any problems in my CW45, I'll post up but with replies like that I doubt I'll encounter any.

.30 carbine and .380 work well.
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.
