  • Holster hunt

I am still on the hunt for a holster and came across Vega holsters. The UC1 has caught my eye. Fot the life of me I cannot find a dealer in the U.S.

I know it looks a lot like the sof-tuc, but I was hoping it would be a better fit for the CM9 than the sof-tuc.

Does anyone know where I may be able to find these holsters for sale?

I found some discussion of Vega holsters on a different forum and according to a source on that thread, there's only one or two dealers in the U.S. for Vega. One of them is "Python Holsters": http://pythonholsters.com/

Python lists several different Vega holsters for sale but I didn't see the UC1.

And for what it may be worth, one person on that thread said that he bought a Vega shoulder holster and was really disappointed in the materials and construction.

      Thank you, for the response.

I will continue to keep looking for something that catches my eye. Thanks again.

+1 on the PJ. Very low profile. No bells or whistles. Plain and simple.

Thanks fellas! I think I will look him up. I like to support the smaller shops around.

I did just order a holster from Rick @ topsblades.com. He is great to deal with and is very concerned about making sure you are a happy with your purchase. He is very quick at getting back to emails as well. I will take a few pics and give an initial review when it comes in.

I really want to pick up a custom leather holster, but that will have to wait for a bit. I do think I may have found the maker though, he is here in PA, McCabe’s Custom Leather. Has anyone had any experience with this shop?

I have a Garrett silent thunder and love it! I love my Crossbreed too, but the ST is nicer to my gun's finish. Both are SUPER concealable, adjustable cant, and disappear when I wear them. I may post a tucked picture with my ST later today thst I took this morning.

This seems to be a +1 thread so I'll throw my +1 on the Garret ST. Great rig. One of the few IWB rigs that I like to wear. And the leather lining is gentle to my babies and that's a very good thing too.

You won't find anyone better to deal with than Ron and Sheryl neither, good people.

Theis holster. Worth the time and cash. My horsehide theis has turned into my daily. I was very hesitant to go with the style of holster it is but I love it now.
