Desantis Nemesis vs. Superfly for PM9

I bought both for my PM9, prefered the Nemesis b/c the material wasn't quite so sticky, but more because I found I could draw from it better. They both stayed pocketed pretty well, but the velcro thing on the Superfly was always in my way, preventing a good grip on the pistol. Without the velcro'ed panel, they are the same and again, liked the material of the Nemesis better.
I kept the Nemesis when I got rid of the PM and I now use it w/ my P9 occasionally...still like it.
Keep saying I'm going to try a Remora...but they are even stickier than the Superfly from what I've read.

Instead of a Remora, try one of these for $14.95 shipped: the Stays-Put Ultra. It is thinner and much cheaper than the Remora (had one), not too sticky like the Super Fly (had one) and it stays put better than any pocket holster I have ever seen.
Very interesting...

I like my desantis, I personally feel NO pocket holster is going to be a fast draw thng for me, as I wear tight jeans all the time and getting tyhe gun out of there is not a fast thing no matter what holstr rig I use. Is there better areason the body to carry if this is ur intentions, IMO yes but for me I won't dress to carry, I carry legal, and if the fokker prints and I am questioned, I fear not. I do not believe anyone is lookiung and maybe, juyst maybe at a biker event there willbe far more cops than one would ever see anwhere else, then again if I am legal, I fear not. Desantis is a good rig IMO and well worth the price but as u can see many use other products to, so IMO ur not gonna make a bad choice no matter what.. My PM9 has over 34,000+ rounds through it, and runs much better than an illegal trying to get across our border

SuperFly wins for the Kahr PM series only because the Nemesis supposedly for a Kahr PM is shaped nothing like the Nemesis holsters I have for other guns.
The SuperFly, without the backing plate, works great for me, allowing a full grip on the gun, a very fast draw, and NO worries about it being on the gun when I pull it out. Yeah, it is a pain to get the holster itself out of the pocket and that backing plate is useless to me because of its bulk.
But, the bare holster is great, for me in chino slacks and shorts. Highly recommended despite the higher retail price. YMMV, of course. It would be so nice if something made sense for a change.

I have a superfly and a Nemesis for the P380. In cargo shorts the superfly and in jeans its the Nemesis. The extra panel on the superfly is most likely going to be too much bulk for anything bigger than the P380. The panel removes on the superfly, making it more "Nemesis like" (I ordered both from Midway at the same time) .
I also have an old Uncle Mike's "Kangaroo" (??) that my old Beretta 21a lives in. It has just a band of sticky around it and being nylon is somewhat "puffy". That said it stays put well in jeans and rolls around in cargo pocket shorts. Stays put on the draw though (in any pants) and has carried the P380. The one I have is a size zero (I think) and they come larger.
My spare mag rides in a back pocket in a Desantis mag packer.
Recovering from surgey right now (bulky back brace) and pocket carry is all I can do. So I can't tell you about how a PM9 will ride, just how Desantis rides with my P series Kahr. Good luck on your search.I was once asked if I was "a paranoid for carrying my Kahr".
"Nope" I said, "just prepared".
" prepared for what" he asked?
"more stuff than you are"

Although my Kahr is a MK40 I'm going to respond anyway.
I prefer the SuperFly for my autos as they cover the night sights and
really help with printing.
But if we are talking J-Frame, the Nemesis rules for my S&W 342 and 640-1.
And, I can't explain why, but I really feel I can draw my J-Frames faster and cleaner than any auto from a pocket.

Is there a Nemesis just for the PM/CM? The one I ordered is sized to fit The P or K and is much larger than it needs to be for the smaller guns. I have a Nemesis for the P380 and it's great. The one for the P380 will work with the PM/CM, it does not cover the entire trigger guard though.

The package for my Nemesis says the number is: N38BJMKZ0. It fully covers the trigger area and has about 3/8" of clearance in front of the muzzle (with a PM40 inserted). The two I have are both identical, were purchased last year, and look a little different from the image below from the current DeSantis web site.
Mine have an additional row of stitches along the straight edge of the holster parallel to the barrel and extend to cover the magazine catch button.
This image above is from the Midway website and looks the like mine (except for the PF-9, of course).
By contrast, the Super Fly I have (number: M44BJMKZ0) appears to be the same shape as the Super Fly pictured above from the DeSantis web site, ignoring the removable flap that I do not use. It also has about 3/8" of clearance in front of the muzzle (with a PM40 inserted).
Best of luck!It would be so nice if something made sense for a change.

Not sure I would have spent the extra few bucks for the Super Fly if JFootin hadn't posted it in the for sale section for about the same cost as a Nemeis, but I am really pleased with it. Thanks, John!It would be so nice if something made sense for a change.

I've lost my memory, and I can't remember where I put it.
