Yep, that's why the overall shape of the gun is important.

You can see the outline of the D frame Colts I carried for a long time.

The CM9 is about as flat of a 9mm as I could find.

Also, the length of the grip is important because that's what will print the most.

The CW9 is a tad too long and prints too much.

See? Wearing loose-fitting clothes is just another advantage offered by getting old.

Does wearing it at 11:00 affect walking or sitting? I don't use mine much, but when I do it seems to be most comfortable and conceiled right at 12:00 and much lower (the muzzel is well below my junk).

I just don't think I'd want to be fumbling around for a pistol inside my pants near my junk in a SHTF situation. But like you said, it's not for everyone.

11:00 works fine when sitting or walking.

When sitting it just lays flat across the top of your thigh and usually rides right up under your pocket.

If one doesn't practice enough to keep from "fumbling around" with any system, they probably shouldn't be carrying.

I wear my SmartCarry in the normal position, centered at the front and down low. With it in that position, the muzzle of the gun stays between my legs when seated, with nothing laying on my thigh.

It looks like you position yours so that it is not in the way when you tinkle. What most of us do is just slide it to the left when nature calls and center it again before we zip up. Very easy to do and much better when seated. Plus, that is the way the holster was designed to be worn. I find it is not hard to slide it over out of the way, and another member said it can be slid up on your belly when you have to sit down, so you're not having to take it off in a public bathroom.

I see. It works for you. You are quite thin. I am not. :israel: You carry yours much higher than they recommend, but you might need some fuller cut pants to carry down further. I am almost always wearing blue jeans which are fairly tight fitting, so my SmartCarry stays in the drawer most of the time.

Sometimes during the day it works itself down a bit lower.

Position-wise I just want it to stay a laterally consistent.

Without having to think, I can pull out my waistband with my left thumb and my right hand goes straight to the grip.

With practice it's about the same as an IWB holster.

Thanks for reminding me of my Smartcarry holster. I tired it today and am still wearing it. I normally pocket carry but the SC is so much more comfortable and fully conceals the CM9 or Glock 26 or BOTH together!
I normally wear Haggar pleated front microfiber pants. (old guy)
I do always remove any pocket or SC before re-holstering.

That's an excellent question.

Since it's inside a pouch which is inside one's pants, it's secure.

Been using the system for years now and have never had it slip in any way shape form or fashion.

I crawl around on the garage floor working on my cars, run the treadmill, etc. No problems
