    MK9 Holster/Mag Pouch

    Hey all, I am a brand new Kahr owner, and I went with the MK9. This is going to be an off duty carry piece for me, and I was just wondering what IWB holster is recommended. Here's the thing though - we need to have a thumb strap on all holsters - right now I have a standard Galco suede IWB for a K9, but I was wondering if anybody knows of a thumb break IWB made specifically for the MK9.

    Also, i want to carry an extra mag on me (the 7 round with finger rest). What mag pouches do you guys use? (preferrably a covered top)

    Welcome to the forum and congrats on the MK9.
    Lots of folks here swear by the PJHolster It's all Kydex and practically disappears IWB. I have never seen any with a thumb break, but Paul is VERY accomodating and I am sure could work something out for you. His prices are outstanding and turnaround is less than 2 weeks.

      I don't think Paul does thumb straps. If I'm wrong, hopefully he will chime in.

        I have a custom made TT Gunleather unit shown here. I am sure Tim could add a thumb break no problem. This holster was originally going to be an OWB but I had him alter the design and include two leather IWB straps so it is truly convertible.
