He has several different attachments. For the CM9, I just ordered the standard clip on. For my G19, I ordered the closed belt loop for additional security since it weighs more (with the closed loop you have to thread your belt through it so it takes more time to put on and take off, but is much more secure for larger weapons)

I ask about that when I ordered mine. If you want the notch (over the belt clip) he has to make the clip a little wider, no notch he can make the clip a little thinner.

Yes, that is a notch, and makes it easier to put on and take off.
