As many of you may already know, I'm a new Kahr owner and still feeling things out. As I am in the break in process, I shoot a lot all at once. (At least 100 rounds before a break.) I also enjoy taking my wife shooting with me and she brings her Mossberg 500. My question is that when my wife shoots my P40, she complains about the grip hurting after just a few rounds. I don't necessarily have a problem with it, but I do see how it bothers her. Are they any great ideas out there to make it a bit more comfortable, and still functional in a holster?! Thanks.

Qwik Grips are fairly nice looking and very comfortable. You can test the concept by using a piece of bicycle inner tube as a cheap grip cover. For some people, that's all they need to make them happy.
Here's are links to the three sizes available at Midway. I suspect you would need a size 2.
Size 1 - http://www.midwayusa.com/product/389...-polymer-black
Size 2 - http://www.midwayusa.com/product/848...-polymer-black
Size 3 - http://www.midwayusa.com/product/364...-polymer-blackIt would be so nice if something made sense for a change.

A minimalist approach that I discovered is to put one carefully trimmed strip of hockey tape on the cheese grater on the back of the gripframe. (I also put one on the front grater on my CM9.) It is cloth tape that sticks well and stays put. The color blends perfectly with the frame and you have to look close to see it. You can still see the little bumps, but they don't bite anymore.Very interesting...

You should have a paperclip at the top of the reply screen.

The way I post pics is upload them to Photobucket, mouse over the image, select the Direct Link, come over here to the Post Edit Window, select the Picture Icon (), paste the link in there and hit Enter. If I am pulling a picture from some other website, I right click it and select Copy Image Location, then post the same way.

* Hold cursor over the photo, (drop down menu appears), and copy the IMG link
* Paste the link into the body of my post.
Obviously both methods work, and there are probably several others that achieve the desired result.Judging by today's left wing, looks like Senator Joe McCarthy was right after all.

Hogue slip on that I put on upside down. Less than $10 retail. Be sure to cut out to allow mag release to work without restriction. I slid a piece of matchbook cover under it to protect the factory grip while I carefully cut as needed with a razor blade.

Trouble with this is you have to Preview Post or Submit Reply to see how your picture is going to look. Doing it my way, you see your picture immediately while you are still editing the post.Last edited by JFootin; 09-24-2012, 09:02 AM.Very interesting...

But seriously... I have on occation "borrowed" a photo from Photbucket, and upon opening the post see that is is either enormous, small or not quite appropriate. I'll have to attempt your method for those times when I'm not sure what exactly will appear.Judging by today's left wing, looks like Senator Joe McCarthy was right after all.
