  • A couple of holster pics

New belt from Jerry, and left to right Remora holster, Horseshoe Holster (with velcro adjustable cant and over pants/under belt clip), just received TT Leather Mikes Special EC, and Ritchie Stakeout (same design as Alessi PCH).

Mikes Special is strong side behind hip 22 degree cant, Ritchie is behind hip strong side 15 degree cant.

Mikes Special takes more belt real estate, but is noticably thinner, Ritchie less belt real estate, but more "buldge" due to loops over the pistol.

I have only worn the Mikes Special a couple of hours and on a one mile walk - so far so good. Both pull the butt of the gun tightly in against the body. I "think" I will end up likeing the Mikes Special more. I'll be wearing them alternating days for the next week on 2.5 mile walks to decide which I prefer.

The Remora and the Horseshoe can be worn in any postion IWB, and in a pinch in pocket.

The house cats were eating dinner. The Mountain Lion is down at the state park lake with it's sibling, mate, or mother. Two lions sighted together 5-6 miles south of us at the state park 2 days ago. Probably commute back up here next week for more venison.

They say dogs have masters and cats have support staff. I believe this is true.

Pretty way cool to be where you are. I'm a tiny bit jealous.

A few pictures of my CT equipped K9. I don't think the LaserGrips will interfere with your holsters.

I carry the extended-grip mags as spares for my polymers and keep them in the K9, along with spares, for TV chair's at-hand home defense.

When I hold the K9 with the CT Grips, I have to be sure I'm not covering the laser output... putting the trigger finger lower, along the frame/top of the trigger guard, when not actually ready to fire.

the off set belt loops make a rig much more concealable for IWB i dont know why anybody makes them where they add thickness to the rig anymore.

It is true the Ritchie Stakeout is a bit more bulky right at the holster/belt, but the design is superb and it takes little belt real estate.

Ritchie and Lou Alessi worked together many years, and the Ritchie Stakeout and the Alessi PCH (Professional Carry Holster) are one and the same.

The holster does not collapse with pistol out due to design, but needs no thicker re-inforcing band like many holsters. This link has more info:

New pics of Jerrys belt with TT MiKes Special EC and Ritchie Stakeout.

I bought a CM9 today, so a pic of the CM9 and K9 alternating in the holsters. Both holsters were designated as P9 holsters. The K9 fit fine, and CM9 is a touch tight due to wider slide.
