  • Holster for K9

I am still fairly new to the site and have had my K9 for about three months. I should finally have my chl in a couple of weeks. I am looking for a good IWB option for my K9. I don't care about cost...I just want the best most comfortable option for all day carry. I work in an office so I want it very concealable and tuckable. Any thoughts?

I have a galco king tuk for my P40, I really like it, it is tuckable, also just got a leather one for my K9, haven't tried it yet.

My Crossbreed SuperTuck is great for all day comfort and is tuckable.

I usually carry in a Remora, just because it is so comfortable, but not tuckable.

Foxx Trapp or PJ are the way to go.

If you have to wear a tucked shirt, I have 2 recommendations:
          • Get a tuckable PJ IWB Holster with the Velcro attachment method. Get it with FBI cant for carry behind the hip. It is VERY comfortable and totally concealed with nothing visible on the belt.
          • A very different carry method, but I have a friend who uses it every day, is the SmartCarry Holster. As long as your pants aren't too tightly tailored, you can carry comfortably and discreetly down by your junk. You can slide it to the side to pee. You can slide it up on your belly to poo, so you never have to remove your gun in the bathroom. If you look at the photos, the owner/inventor is carrying a full size 1911 and you can't tell at all.
          Very interesting...

I wear a K9 in a PJ IWB Tuckable every day of life. I recently had Paul change the FBI cant to approx 20deg. It's so comfy I don't remember it's there.

Thanks for all of these options! I was already considering a crossbreed but the pj holster looks good too. I am considering both now. I would love to hear any other options.

The Crossbreed Mini Tuck is plenty big enough and will hold any Kahr except the P380. I now have 3 horsehide ones and they are interchangeable for my K9, P9, PM9, P40, and my PM45.

mine start on Post#6, but there are many examples in the thread.

One of the most important things is to get a real GUN belt... one that's sturdy enough not to stretch or sag, as thin cheap ones do.

I use to swear by the Crossbreed style holsters, but I wouldn't go back after getting my Foxx Trapp (similar to PJ tuckable), well maybe for a bigger gun, but not something as small as a Kahr.

+1 on the PJ holster, but wear it with a belt from Rocky River Leather for the best comfort and support.

I wear one of their bullhide gunbelts and love it.
