Looking at these holsters for my CM9 - Opinions?

That is unlike Ray, every time I have emailed him he responded in 1-3 days. The first Foxx holster I got was a black hybrid, and IMO the back of the leather was to rough, he told me to send it back for a full refund, but I had fond his video for the Trapp and just did an exchange. A little later (months) someone here mentioned taking out the spacers behind the clip to make the Trap thinner. I gave it a try, the screw set was to long. I contacted Ray again asking if he could help me find the screw set I needed to eliminate the spacers and he responded asking for my address so he could send them to me and telling me that the Trapps are now made without the spacers.. I guess what I'm saying is I've found Foxx's (Ray's) costumer service to be top notch."To argue with a person who has renounced the use of reason is like administering medication to the dead." I've never seen a PJ besides pics. From what I've seen I think the Trapp would be close to the tuckable PJ (basically yes, but only the thickness of the kydex the clip is made of, that's a minimal difference IMO) and yes the Trapp is tuckable also. I normally don't carry tucked, but IMO the Trapp is much easier to tuck than hybrid holsters that I've had. From wearing the Trapp I don't see a need to get a PJ because I don't even feel like I carrying a gun with the Trapp. Also I use a 1.75" belt, it's a tight fit, but the clips do work with it."To argue with a person who has renounced the use of reason is like administering medication to the dead." Welcome to the herd!
I have tried a bunch and always go back to Sticky or Remora and PJ or Foxx Trapp. For me, the Sticky wins slightly over Remora and Foxx Trapp wins easily over the PJ. Foxx is less expensive, adjustable, has kydex in all the right spots, and just fits better. There is no wait for Foxx either.Kahr P380, Custom CM9 x2, & PM45 or S&W M&P9c x2 (my CC guns)

Yes he does, I had a Theis horse hide for the LC9 I had, but after using the Trapp with my P9 I'll never go back to a hybrid holster for a small gun. Theis would be my choice for a bigger and/or heavier gun, but it's just to bulky for a Kahr.Originally posted by rosharb View PostTommie Theis makes a nice IWB holster I carry my cm9 in one .
It's good to hear from someone who has both, I don't think there are many of us that have a Trapp or PJ that feel a need to buy the other. Is your PJ tuckable? Can you explain a little more what makes the Trapp work better for you. Are my assumptions right that the Trapp is slightly thicker than a standard PJ but close to the tuckable?Originally posted by itsthelaw View PostWelcome to the herd!

I do not have the tuckable PJ, but it does have the cant. The two holsters are exactly the same thickness. The Trapp is a bit wider, but mainly because there is more kydex covering the trigger and guard. The kydex on the Trapp covers the trigger guard completely while the PJ is open. I don't know if one is safer, but could imagine an AD from getting a shirt caught on trigger if trying to holster while IWB. For me, the Trapp just sits better and gives me the option to adjust cant. There doesn't seem to be any weight difference. Trapp also gets edge for availability and cost. Both have excellent customer service. I just don't see any advantage to the PJ. I hope this helps.Kahr P380, Custom CM9 x2, & PM45 or S&W M&P9c x2 (my CC guns)

I had a Theis for my LC9, if you like it you'll fall in love with a Foxx Trapp. I'm not saying Theis is bad, I liked it a lot!!! But after having a Trapp I would never go back for a small light gun.Originally posted by s9601694 View PostGet a Theis IWB holster, if my wife would let me I'd even wear it to bed, thats how comfortable it is!"To argue with a person who has renounced the use of reason is like administering medication to the dead." I was looking at the PJ holsters untill I read this thread. Now im over on Foxxs website looking at the Trapp. I think im going to go with the Trapp since I was wanting a tuckable holster anyway and the price is better. I cant decide if I want the slide guard or not?

I recently ordered a pocket holster for my CM9 from PJ Holster. I had it within two weeks. It's my fourth PJ Holster and I'm extremely hard to please. Paul is one of the best and goes out of his way to please his customers.Originally posted by Ryan_289 View PostI was looking at the PJ holsters untill I read this thread.
