PJ or Foxx Trapp for P9?

Im going to start a new thread so I dont hijack the other thread I posted in.

I cant decide between the PJ tuckable holster and the Foxx Trapp. The PJ appears to ride lower thus concealing better than the foxx. This is my first IWB holster.

I also cant decide on the clips if I do go with the PJ. I like the regular snap hooks the best but those will show when a shirt is tucked in. Is it really that noticable for you guys who carry tucked in regularly? PJ has a new C hook that looks like it might be a better compromise than the J hook. This gun isnt that heavy so I dont guess it really is going to pull down that much anyway.

I carry my K9 or T9 IWB with shirt tucked in every day. I am using the Frontline deep concealment holster. Super comfortable and no one even notices the belt loops. I have never had anyone question what they were. Brown belt, brown loops, black belt black holster and loops. No one is lookin for those and if they see them, the only people that might suspect is another carrier.

I can only speak to the Foxx Trapp. I bought it due to it's versatility (cant or no-cant) I think you pay for the versatility with a very small increase in thickness. I'm very pleased with the purchase. You'll get many who swear by the PJ holster as well. They are both great holsters in my estimation.

I have a PJ on order for my CW45, so I'll be able to compare soon enough.

The major difference I see is availability. You can get a Foxx in the mail tomorrow, a PJ is 5 weeks out.

Good luck with your decision, but I don't see how you can go wrong.

I also have a Trapp, but wouldn't hesitate to recommend the PJ. The only post I have seen comparing the two (from someone who has both) gave a edge to the Trapp for price, availability, and a little better coverage of the trigger.

I have several PJ holsters. For total concealment with a tucked shirt, I recommend the PJ IWB with tuckable Velcro attachment. Paul sends a generous sized strip of Velcro loop to put on the back of 1 or 2 belts (or more if you are very careful with placement). Absolutely nothing visible on the belt and the PJ holster is so thin there is no printing. Another advantage with the Velcro is that you can make slight adjustments to the cant and ride height.
