    IWB for P40 and Summer Carry

    I have a P40 I would like to CCW this summer in shorts.

    I would like to CCW 3oclock or 10 o'clock postion.

    I like leather, but rough side out would be best to hold position.

    What holsters have worked for you in the summer? Any ideas? Would like to have less than $150 into holster and mag pouch.

    Thin light, etc...
    The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

      Personally I love Bear Creek Holsters http://www.bearcreekholsters.com and he can customize it any way you want. I also like the Remora holster with the upgraded lining for days I don't wear a belt.

        Have a look at these: Side Guard IWB Holsters. A lot of folks seem to like the Desantis Sof-Tuck, which is very inexpensive, yet is made of suede leather, is tuckable, has adjustable cant and a leather reinforced mouth for easy reholstering.             I am a shorts and t-shirt kind of guy and I just bought a desantis cozy partner for my CW9. Very comfortable, secure and small footprint. I also use a versacarry for the CW9 as well. I know a lot of people are scared of it but with the kahr triggers I dont worry about it. Before I EDC'd with the Versacarry I wore it around the house for a couple of days charged with snap caps to see if I could AD in various situations. No AD's at all. I won't use it with my XD.

              It has been a while..., but I just placed my order for a Comp-Tac Spartan. I'm excited to give that a go!
