CM9 Pocket Holster

I just picked up a CM9 yesterday & am looking for a pocket holster. Primarily for jeans and shorts (front right pocket either way - no cargo shorts).

The one Kahr sells looks promising in terms of concealment. From the pics, seems like it would more less look like you had your wallet in your front pocket.

Any other suggestions? After concealment, my concern would be not sliding out of the pocket (shorts). Most of mine have deep enough pockets, but something "grippy" couldn't hurt.

You'll be hard-pressed to find anything better for the price than the Stays Put Ultra.

I have a couple of the soft holsters, a remora and a stays put. Very comfortable but it's like stuffing a small pillow in my pocket. With the stays put it takes extra effort to leave it in the pocket with loose fitting pants. Ordered a Fist K5 thin kydex with a thumb push sounds ideal but every holster I have sounded ideal. I'll try to reply after it arrives.

I use the Galco leather one. You hook it on the pocket during your draw and it stays in your pocket. No issue with shorts or cargo pants and if your jeans are fitting loose enough they shouldn't be a problem either.

Desantis nemesis, $20. Amazon. Very grippy to pocket, stays put. But depending on how tight your pants are, the barrel side of the gun does show more so than the grip side. In my dress pants, it's less concealed, than jeans but I don't really care. If I really wanted to pocket carry more, I'd have to go with their 380

You might also want to check out the Uncle Mike's #3 pocket holster. I currently use it with my PM9 and so far so good. Very inexpensive. I am also going to purchase a DeSantis Nemesis. Have read and heard good things about it as well. I currently have a pocket holster fetish!

Now that you've decided on the Stays Put Ultra, let me tell you a little secret. Even though it's a pocket carry holster, JFootin here on KahrTalk told me that it also works great as an AIWB. I took his advice and tried it, and I'll tell you he's absolutely right. I went one step further and added a nylon loop (see below) which I bend over & put my belt through to make it even more snug when I use it AIWB. And when it's in my pocket, the loop doesn't get in the way at all when I try to draw, and it also helps to make sure that the rear of the slide prints even less. BTW, my Stays Put looks slightly different than yours will because I have a CT Laser on my CM9.
