I just saw an ad for the Sneaky Pete Holster, which is like a Hybrid firearm/cell phone holster that slips on the outside of the belt. About $55 retail. I've never tried a holster like this, but am wondering just how obvious it looks to carry this type of holster in the open. Looks to me like a firearm holster with a flap...not a cell phone carrier. It only has a magnet closure on the flap, but the firearm does seem secure inside the holster. I carry IWB and pocket and am happy with the holsters I have currently. I am also not poking any negativity at the product or similar products. Just wondering. You can visit them at www.SneakyPeteHolsters.com and let the readers know your thoughts. Thanks.

As mbaza noted, most gun folk will know it's a holster if/when they see it but the general population is unlikely to notice it for what it is (or at all). The problem with it is it's the wrong size/shape for a cell phone these days (reminds me more of a case for the old Palm PDA's)
I think it would have been less obvious if it had a Caduceus or other medical alert style symbol on it because people would more likely figure it for an Insulin or EpiPen case (a guy I used to work with had a canvas insulin case that was a similar size he carried on his belt)
I do think the mag carries look pretty good though (the bullet brick is kinda of neat as well, but probably wouldn't bother with one).

I bought one for my CM9 and it fits the MK9 also. They have a nice black matching belt for $29 which I also bought. It's somewhat bigger than a cell phone case and more the size of a CD case, but it doesn't draw attention from the average non-gun people. The magnets hold the case closed nice and tight. It can be worn inside or outside a long shirt or coat. I like it and will see if anyone makes it as a holster. The gun fits tight enough that it doesn't move around inside the case and it is easy to draw the gun from.

Agree folks....Thanks. Just curious if there were any committed users of this type of product. Nothing wrong with it, but it seems obvious to me too.My Sword - PM4044N/CTL/Talons

That is a good idea. I saw these below on eBay. Just be careful which sticker you choose, or someone may run up and ask you to save their friend!
