Would a holster for a K9 fit a K40? Are they the same dimensions? Holster maker lists K9 as available.

I thinkthough in all honestly the slide width might be a tad and I mean just a tad bigger but I know utters who have bought a K9 rig and a K40 fit right in... My PM9 has over 34,000+ rounds through it, and runs much better than an illegal trying to get across our border

My favorite k40 holster is a Dean IWB made for a k9. You will be fine.O|||||||OComment

I'm guessing it's going to work (or not) on a holster by holster basis.
I had a TT leather holster for a PM9 that worked beautifully with my CM9
However, with a PM40 slide installed on the CM9, you can get it into that holster, but you are not getting it out with any kind of speed (and might need the offhand to manipulate the holster).
