  • KT Mech Holster

I received my new holster and mag holder from KT Mech holster for my CM9 today. Great looking holster and very close to the body. The Company sent me a free magazine holder because their kydex vendor didn’t have the color (OD Green) I wanted in stock and cause a delay in making the holster. Now that’s what I call GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Will buy my next holster from them. Just wanted to say thanks to Suzanne Lizaso (Chief Operations Officer of KT Mech) for all the help. Sorry the picture doesn’t show the true color which is a beautiful army green.

Put some kydex OWB wings I purchased from DIY holsters. Makes the holster very tight against the body.

Great idea, I have the same holster and would like to add the wings. What size are they? They don't specify on the DIY website, and I notice you have them attached to the first and fourth hole.
      Thanks, falcon904 / new member

They are 1.75, you have to drill holes in them. I used the clips from the holster to mark the holes. The best way to do it is to put the wings together with masking tape and mark the holes on the tape. Very comfortable and rides very close to the body.

            Wings

Hey Falcon, I wanted to show want I did with the kydex wings. I placed them in a toaster oven and was able to change their shape making them more comfortable.

Do you use the 1.75 with a 1.5 or 1.75 inch belt? Looks like a great modification! I might have to try a pair of these!

I set the toast oven at 350. Remember to wear gloves and to use two small pieces of wood to hold the clip in place while you bend it.

Thanks for the suggestions. DIY shipped very fast and the wings hit my door today. I didn't have time to try them out but I will soon.

I originally purchased the 1.5" wings for a 1.5" custom made gun belt and they where too tight, so I ordered the 1.75" drilled the holes as you recommended, and they work great. Nice and tight against the body at the 3:30 position. I'm afraid that if I bend the wings I'll have too much play. Again a great idea!

Anytime and you're right about bending the wings because I had to bend them back for a tighter fit.
