Bike tube grip works great for CT45

Talon doesn't make a grip yet, Hogue normal size doesn't fit single stack all that well and Handall Jr doesn't cover enough real estate

Thanks to a few tips here and some other sites I bought a bike tube. Cut to size and instant 5 dollar grip with plenty left for other guns [emoji106][emoji3]

I just installed this Pachmayr Tactical Grip Glove on my new CW45. The package says it fits the CT45 also. I like it so far. It feels great in hand and helps tame the recoil.

I have Traction grips on all my poly guns. A set is on the way for my new CM45 as well.

Yeah I did see that Don has them. I have a set on my Shield. I like how Talon wraps around the whole grip. Traction only does the front and sides. However if you don't mind that his products are a heck of a deal

Those look interesting. How hard are they to get off the gun if one decides they don't like them?

They should peel off with no problem if you would want them off. Any residual adhesive that may be left on could be wiped off with WD-40 or if you have some use adhesive remover.

I doubt you won't like them though, so I will also tell you how to install them so they don't come off by themselves.

Clean the grip frame with alcohol really well, let it dry and do it again.
Try to not touch the sticky side much when putting them on.
Press down hard, then take a hairdryer heat them up good and push down all over again.
Mine have been on for like 4 yrs at this point with lots of carry time, mostly pocket and still have no signs of peeling off. Though I am careful not to get my cleaning/oiling products all over them as well.

I to use the inner tube grips. I grabbed one out of the free used junk pile at a bike shop I ride by any time I go to Asheville nc . That one tube has been use on 6 family pistols and still have a foot half left. That makes for a serious dollar savings over those way to small factory slip-ons.
