  • Anyone using a Clinger Holster

I just got this thing, I ordered it a month ago. I pocket carry, but I'd rather not. With the winter months coming....some day (It's still 90 degrees and humid), I wanted a IWB holster that I might use without spending a lot of money because I probably won't use it. Anyway, I ordered one of these for about $26. I like this thing. they are custom built for the gun you're using, and it clings! I wanted a thumb break because I don't want the thing climbing out, but this holster doesn't need it, it holds on to my CM40 real well. Anyone else using these?

Looks like it really well designed holster even for someone with sausages for fingers. Right now I have more holsters than I have guns, but I'll definitely bookmark this site. Very nice.

I just got one last week for my Ruger LC9S. Very comfortable to wear and easy to put on. Considering getting one for my CT380.

Also got a Clinger Stingray for my P380 w/CT. Nice small holster, comfortable fit and edges are nicely rounded. Concealment is nice and tight to the body, hard to tell it's there even with tighter t-shirts. Gun fit perfect - great retention but very easy to draw. I also use a Bear Creek pocket holster most times, but for the low money for the Clinger it adds a nice option.

Are these kydex lined with leather? They keep mentioning it's not a run of the mill hybrid, then it says all kydex is best, don't trust leather and hybrids are only half as good as kydex???

I'm a little confused as usual.

No, they are just kydex from what I can tell. If I want lined, I get Silent Thunder.

Unless requested, they are not lined with leather. Well made kydex holsters have only one hold point in the holster, and that would be the trigger guard/area.................if you have enough $$$$$$$$$$$ they can pretty much do whatever you want

There ya go. I got a couple myself. Good rigs and I really like leather against my guns delicate finish. Best of both worlds to me.

I have a clinger stingray for my fn40c. It was one of the few holsters I could find since this model gun was pretty new. I couldn't be happier with it.

The gun I ordered this one for is not so pricey. I do have a couple of kydex holsters that came with a used PM9. They are sort of alright, but did remove that Diamond Like Coating along the front edges of the slide. I don't think a Silent Thunder would have done that nearly so much.

XCO: Do you have a pic of the Clinger for the CT380 with laser? I've been thinking about ordering one for my P380 with CT Laser.

                            Sure, mines a P380 also.

I'm going to have to figure out how to post a picture though.
