CW45 Laser Holsters

Just showing off two of my newest creations. I have not seen many holsters set up for the CW45 with lasers - so I decided that I would create such...

The black with red stitching is the CW45 with a Crimson Trace laser.

The black and tan holster is a CW45 with a Viridian Reactor 5 ECR laser - this one has a magnet built in it to instantly turn on the laser when the weapon is drawn from the holster.

Well thanks for the order. I really did not put these up as advertisement. I had to quit making holsters back in January - rheumatoid arthritis is killing my hands and hand stitching these holsters makes it worse. I still make one now and again. I had two that I made last year for someone local and they never picked them up (long story), so I added them to my website last night.

The two above I just made out of some scrap leather that I had laying around - I was bored and needed something to do. They turned out pretty good - but there are some things that I would change on the next ones, but they will work for my use. I really like my CW45s but I need a little help in aiming (eyes are not what they used to be) - hence the lasers. Since I live in Texas and we are an open carry state, I carry outside the waistband (covered with a shirt) and I decided I needed a leather holster (not a Kydex fan) and now you see the results...

Well, it's will be a shame if you have to quit working leather for good.
I received the Shield holster today (thank you for the fast shipping) and have to say I'm quite pleased with it. I like what I see in the quality of the work and the materials used. Thanks!

I hope that it works for you. The M&P Shield was one of the most popular the last couple of years. I made 104 holsters in 2016 and have only made 6 in 2017. It is now officially a part time hobby, but my hands thank me for it... I still reload, but bottle neck cases hurt my hands about as bad a sewing leather so I have cut back on that as well. Getting old sucks...

I'm with you 10mm on the hands. Mine been gradually bothersome, but last couple months down right debilitating, this coming from a full time derelict.
Now in addition to the hands freezing up my elbow is aggravating me too.

Break out the Aleve and carry on I guess. I'm generally not into power whining but I guess I kind of did this time.

Still, there are days when nothing works worth a squat.
I don't know if it will bring any relief to rheumatoid arthritis, but it might be worth a try.

Have you been talking to my wife? She swears by the stuff. Puts it on bug bites too. All my kids are adults now and still use it.

Don't recall seeing that stuff but I'll look for it. The name is kind of manly, Tiger Balm....that works.

I used a lot of Bag Balm working concrete and galvanized wire in my younger days. Good stuff for dried out cracking hands and such.
Doubt it does anything at all for joint or muscle ailments.

I came across Tiger Balm in Southeast Asia in '68. The Thais and Vietnamese use it for many things...and it works. Try putting some on your upper lip if you have a cold....works wonders. It's the Asian version of Vicks Vapo-Rub, but better!

Once again Greg comes through. I got me a bottle of Tiger Balm few weeks back (mind says Red Ointment). Smells a bit like menthlatum deep heating rub, wife isn't nuts about the smell but it's not bad.
It does seem to help some too. Right elbow has been aggravating and I've mostly been using it there. Juries still out on the hands but I haven't been applying there regularly so maybe it needs more of a chance.

Reading this thread again I saw the bit about putting some under your nose if your stuffed up. I just now did that and seems to provide immediate results there as well.

Next time I get the urge to visit the doc I'm gonna check with you guys first, might not need the doc after all.

Aches, pains, stuffy nose and "Flatulence". That last one is tripping me up. I don't have an issue with that but if I did I ain't smearing it there.

Going to resurect a slightly old thread - I love tangent topics while I look for OWB holster for the CW45 I reply to a Tiger Balm post.
In a past life I had a martial arts instructor SWEAR by TB also and I started using it, he was ADAMANT that you ALWAYS apply TB by wiping AWAY from your heart - like REALLY SERIOUSLY DEMANDED you ALWAYS pushed the balm away from your heart.

Say your hands hurt start at the wrist and apply toward the fingers (closest to furthest from the heart) NEVER fingers to wrist (applying toward the heart)
To this day when I use TB I do as he said - Your mileage may vary... now back to the CW45 OWB hunt.
