My PM45 carry rigs

I just acquired a PM45 from a member here and wanted to show off what I am doing for carry rigs!

I have used Comp-Tac MTAC holsters for my Sigs for years. Now with a PM45 for summer carry, I got an MTAC for it.

In addition, I got a clip on Don Hume for times when I don't formally have to 'tuck-in'.

Hello Bill and wecome to KahrTalk. I am a fan of Comp-Tacs holsters as well though of don't have an MTAC at this time. I have a couple Infidels and a couple of the older Undercover Pro holsters. Last week I picked up a CTAC for a K9 and I think it will work out well.

Hey wondering about the don hume holster.What model # is that one and does it fit the pistol.I am sure it fits the pistol but wondering how well.I have not been able to find that holster specific to the pm45.I finally picked up a galco sto286 which works fine but the pistol is a little hard to get out.I am not going to keep this one but i have a weired feeling putting anything that goes bang so close to the family jewls if ya know what i mean.

Kake your Kahr apart. Now reassemble it without the recoil spring. You'll see just how little tension there is on the striker when everything is at rest. I have no qualms about the pistol not going bang unless I dictate the order.

Since my PM45 is now functional I went ahead and purchased a High Noon "Mister Softy" for it. Pics to follow.

On the Kahr website, I ordered the Hume 715 for a PM45. I really believe that they use the same one for the P45, etc. They show the wrong photo (one for a LH), but the description works...

It is a really well built holster and i plan to use it as my "go to the store holster"...

I've had no problems with that. Well... the barrel inside does get "dusty", but not full of lint. When I get to the point I'm not shooting it all that much, I suppose I'll run a wad of whatever thru the barrel once in a while to get the "dust" (or lint) out.

You could always put one of those soft ear plugs in the muzzle and trim it off to keep lint out.

Looks like the ride height is about the same for both the Hume & High Noon holsters, is this correct? Does the ride height allow the grip to be a bit above the belt or is the front strap resting in the belt? A picture with either of these holsters being worn would be a great help.

I see that both holsters cost about the same, ~ $30.00, but that the High Noon has what appears to be a tension screw, is this correct?

Can't help with the High Noon holster (it does look like a tension screw...).

But the Hume holster allows the grip to be just above the beltline. It is comfortable, but the clip is very tight.

Not sure how may flexes are in the clip, but I've not ever read that there is a problem with them, just sayin'!

Het thanks bill i did see that holster.That little softy holster looks pretty good also.Waiting to get my pm45 back and ill see how she works before i buy another holster.
