  • Some New Kahr Leather!

Here are a couple items I put together this past week....
RH Pocket Holster for the Kahr P380!

Next up is a Magazine pouch (RH) for the Kahr PM9 or CM9.... actually, it will work with any Kahr 9mm! 1.5" belt slots.

The semi exposed triger looks like keys or other objects could snag the trigger when the holster is in the pocket. Can't quite tell without a real gun in there though. Anyway that would be a concern of mine.

Same here. If it is going to be in the pocket I feel that it should have enough material to completely prevent a foreign object to enter the trigger guard. Other wise both products look very well done.

I don't pocket carry but is it customary to have other stuff with the gun in the pocket. Seems like it would be best by itself.

Yes, I agree. To me, Pocket carry (which I do mostly) dictates that the weapon is the only thing in the pocket. Otherwise it is asking for issues.

Same here Weapon only in that pocket. You want it clear for drawing your weapon.

Besides what the guys have already said concerning functionality and safety I feel the white stitching detracts by pulling the eye away from your leather your work. Your leather work looks great, play down the stitching so the leather work pops.

                ^^^ This.....

I'd think if a person pocket carries, and they are serious about gun use.. they will NOT be putting other items in their pockets with their gun!

But, that said.... the trigger is covered. I make these so you can get a full combat (solid full) grip on the gun... not pull the gun out and then have to reposition it in the hand to get your full grip on the gun... that would be pretty slow. It's designed so the front OR rear portion of the holster can "hook" on the pocket as it comes out, thus leaving the holster in the pocket where you want it to stay.

I've sold about 200 of these for LCP's and other small auto's... PM9's too.... this is my first for the P380 and I love it... hides that little 380 really well!

Thanks Bill. I do make it in Black as well.. and stitching in Black is of course black... I can use Black OR white on the chestnut.... lot's ask for white but I do make them both ways.

Your pocket holster, is it flat on one side and molded on the other?

Going to offer a double mag pouch soon? What about speed loader pouches?

Good for you! I've had to modify several pocket and AIWB holster from some well know holster makers to enhance getting a good "combat grip" as you call it. I'm a stickler for not having holster material where my thumb is going to be, lessons the chance of muffing a draw. For pocket carry I want a middle finger push off at the start of the draw and it looks like your design allows for that. Also prefer maybe ~3/8" of retention then the rest of the draw is retention/snag free.

Great looking pattern in the leather. Stitching appears very solid and straight. Definately professional looking craftsmanship.
I assume you have done this before and I'm just unaware of your previous work. Do you have pricing on your holsters and gear?

Edited for laziness. I just checked out your website. (I know, I did this all bass-akwards.)

Other issues including if the gun "prints" and someone sees it, in many states that's a arrest waiting to happen. A pocket holster prevents
trouble from the " OMG ! is that a gun?!?" crowd.
