I am interested in buying a crossbreed holster but was wondering how they fit the CW9. I have been told they fit the larger pistols and the Mini fits the smaller ones. The CW9 being between the two sizes... I was hoping to hear from a few who use the two together. Thanks for all your help.

The CW series is exactly the same size as the P series. The differences are in the cosmetics. http://kahrtalk.com/p-cw-series-pist...cw9-vs-p9.html http://kahrtalk.com/general-discussi...ure-chart.html That should help.Attitude: it takes 43 muscles to frown, 17 to smile...and 3 for proper trigger squeeze.

Today seems to be the day for holster decisions. My opinion is that the CW9 gets lost in the Crossbreed while the mini is said to be okay. I tried but couldn't deal with the 2 belt clips. I'm not very flexible and trying to get the thing on had me finally dropping my pants to get to it. This was my deciding factor as I require and grab and go holster. As you can see in my signature, I ended up with the Silent Thunder for both my small PM9 and larger Colt Commander 45. Single clip is good.•"Everything will be okay in the end. Crossbreed and the CW9
I bought the Crossbreed SuperTuck for my CW9 and love it. I've had it for several days now and wore it for two days straight with no problems. You have to tinker around with the holster's adjustments at first, and with the location on your waist, to find the proper combination for you. I wound up increasing the cant (by moving one of the clips up) and determining that wearing it just behind the 3 o'clock position on my waist works for me. Yes, it's a little bit of a chore to put on but it's worth it. I'm sure I'll get better at that with experience.
The leather (I chose the horsehide option) is still breaking in and forming to my shape. I've heard it will take a couple of weeks to fully break in. Nonetheless it has been VERY comfortable so far.
The Kydex holds the pistol well, although it has loosened up a tiny bit. I"m OK with that. It doesn't bounce around in there or anything. There's a definite "click" when it snaps into place. There is a way to shrink that Kydex back to a tighter fit if you want. Crossbreed provides instructions. It's really a matter of your personal preference.
Having two belt clips, being spread so far apart, is the very thing that makes this holster work so well. It really tucks the grip/butt into your side for good concealment.
Someone in this thread mentioned the MiniTuck version as an option. Definitiely smaller than the SuperTuck but I'm not sure they make it for the CW9. I think that one's for the Ruger LCP or Kel-Tec P3AT pocket pistols. I'd ask the Crossbreed guys about that one. They were good about answering my questions. There's a link on their website.
Crossbreed said to allow 3-4 weeks when I ordered the SuperTuck. It showed up in 2-1/2. A pleasant surprise!
I hope that helps with your decision. Good luck!

Crossbreed and the CW9
Just a follow-up from my previous post. I took a closer look at the MiniTuck on the CrossBreed website and it's most definitely an option for the CW. There are many different guns that they'll make it for. Some of them larger than what I'd consider pocket pistols. If you're concerned about the size of the holster, the MiniTuck might be worth a look.

Well, I broke down and bought the crossbreed holster for my CW9. Thank everyone for your advice. I do find it comfortable although it will take a bit to get used to. I can use it most of the time but it is very uncomfortable when riding a horse. I will have to stay with my galco with a thumb brake when I ride to feel safer. Thanks Everyone!

I've also converted a CrossBreed QwikClip into a MicroClip-size holster for my PM9. Here's the thread covering the conversion: http://kahrtalk.com/holsters-gear/35...onversion.html
