    • Bawanna Grips on a Gift 1911

I don't think these ever made it to the 1911 pics album...

Gift for step-dad that Bawanna made extra special with his amazing wood carving skills!

      • I'm really pleased with how those turned out and how they look on that gun, rich and classy without being too flashy if you follow the flow of my creek. I think they look super. Course I'm biased I suppose.

Those are a couple real beauties Jfootin posted. Makes me wish I was a Marine so I could carry that. Like to send one to Greg and maybe Jlott. Wonder if they have a 2 fer sale ever? The first one make my britches stick out in front too.

Never owned an engraved gun before but I sure would like to some day. Not to over the top flashy but some nice subtle engraving, kind of classy.

There's still a few real good real engravers out there but I think it's becoming a lost art too.

        • I'm going to shoot it with the grips on in the next 3 weeks. I'm pretty excited. Thank you for everything!

Can you imagine earning that "Ranger of the Year" gun in the middle. It would be an honor. I wonder if any of the others were gifts or awards?

. My PM9 has over 34,000+ rounds through it, and runs much better than an illegal trying to get across our border

Or you could study up and learn how to post a picture of that engraved 36? It's a starter pistol but I'd still love to see it.

I knew it would! Does that make either one of us a perv?

You for sure, the jury is still out on me but it's not looking too good.

now u are calling my engraved Model 60- early 70" s a fokking starter pistol. That takes alot of gonads (cajones). More class in my Model 60 than any 10 1911's. jUST SAYIN.

\someday I will get my son to post it for me and then all u guys can make fun of the vast amount of engraving on it. I can get big big bug bucks for it down in the ghetto. Their grand poobah there realy wants it, he is kinda like G. Patton and wants to put ivory grips on it even

                    damn: starter pistol

I sometimes hate myself for getting into a Jocko harassing frenzy. Patton was fine with Ivory, didn't have much for them Mississippi river boat pearl handles though. Your right, I do want it badly. I'd make it a center piece to a shrine.
I went way over the line with the starter pistol comment, don't know what came over me.

                      I'll go cut a switch.
