I do not want to take away from the Crossbreed holster, that is no my intent. I have owned two, still have one, and really like the holster. However, it is a simple design that is easily copied and available from other makers out there at a lower price. The last holster I purchased is the same design by Tommy Theis. This is a horsehide/kydex hybrid holster, "combat cut" is the design and not an extra, and is well made and less expensive. Once you add horsehide and combat cut the the Crossbreed (which is what I like) it costs $92.25, while the Theis holster is $65.00.

There are other makers of the hybrid pancake holster, some may be better or worse than the Crossbreed, and some may be more or less expensive. I like the Theis just as well as I do my Crossbreed, but at $27.25 less, I would go with the Theis again.

After a couple weeks of going back and forth I am going to order a cross breed holster today. Just have one question to throw out to you guys. Some guys have said to go with the mini tuck. The decision to go with the mini or not is the only thing holding me up. Would like to hear what the general opinion is on wich holster to get. Either the super tuck or the mini for the k9?

The same Mini Tuck works for ALL of my Kahrs, except the P380, which has its own. You don't need the Super-sized one. Smaller is better, and two clips are better... one either side for stability and less thickness.

The horse hide handles sweat and moisture better... and check the FAQ's for a possible discount.

Thanks for the info. I might just have to start out with the mini. At what position do you normally wear your gun/holster?
