WTF, 99.50%of all of us forum members are never gonna encounter any of this SHTF stuff, so why not just shoot it like u stole it, train as best u can and the rest is an unknown tha tyou have zero control over.Hell wesee trainedpolice officers emptying thier 17 round G17 ad never hitting nuttin.Iconsider them trained, but the adrenalindump is an unknown.

Ask any bowhunter who has a deer 10 yards from him about adrenalin dump...
. My PM9 has over 34,000+ rounds through it, and runs much better than an illegal trying to get across our border

This guy was about 15 to 18 yards away when he walked up on me....I didn't wait on him to get any closer, but hunting on the ground (I don't like heights) I didn't want to give him a second chance....course if I had missed, he probably wasn't going to hurt me like an attacker might...but at this point we'll never know.

            Kahr triggers

I have owned three Kahrs and made minor adjustments on their triggers--polishing, lightening, and eliminating overtravel. 6.5 lbs. They were good to start with since I wanted DAO, and they are better after the work. I like them the way they are.

I understand the desire for a short reset and faster shooting, but as with so many things, it is a tradeoff. In this case, it's safety.

A short reset will have a short pull, and that gets into the SA arena. That usually requires a manual safety, which I refuse to have on a self defense concealed carry pistol.

The Kahr triggers are the perfect balance of safety, accuracy and speed for my anticipated use of a self defense pistol. The trigger pull is just long enough, heavy/light enough, and the required reset is acceptable.

I have a Beretta PX4 Storm full size with the Constant Action trigger, a halfcocked hybrid affair. It is not the traditioinal DA/SA type F or G. It has the same trigger pull all the time, and it is almost exactly like my Kahr triggers. The advantage is greatly increased capacity, a larger grip with a bigger, heavier gun, so it is easier to shoot. There is no safety. Just like a Kahr or a revolver, pull-point-shoot. KISS. The tradeoff is it is harder to carry and conceal. I've learned to deal with that so my Kahrs are backups.

But these are the perfect triggers for me.

BTW, I recently bought a S&W 9MM Shield because it has a shorter reset. It had undoubtedly the worst trigger design and function I have ever experienced on any firearm I have ever handled. Even after spending more money on the aftermarket APEX trigger kit, it is still substandard compared to my Kahrs and Beretta. Yech.
