Same ammo - different result??

FWIW I have had good luck with the Freedom Munitions ammo in my well-used Ruger LCP. Seemed consistent and clean... But it is a flat-nosed bullet, and I recall some people mentioning problems with other flat-nosed rounds in the Kahr 380.

Some .380 ammo is finicky. My Ruger LCP eats most everything EXCEPT Independence ammo. It fails to extract on every other round. Also Buffalo Bore hard cast won't feed every now and then because it's flat nosed I believe.

Once you find an ammo it likes I'd just stick with it and you'll be happy, happy, happy.

Mine feeds WWB fine but they don't always lock the slide back. It's the only ammo that does that so I figure it has less power than other ammo.

Ok -- so I put 50 more rounds through my P380 today. I had zero FTF or FTE - fed and ejected perfectly. Again ammo was Magtech. I'm pretty sure now that the reman ammo was most of my earlier problems. However, I had a problem with this box of the same Magtech ammo that I didn't have last time out. Out of 9 mags shot, 5 failed to lock slide back on last round. Is there a fix for that?

I'm becoming pretty accurate with the little gun now and am pleased that I bought it.

Shot 50 more rounds today. Frustrated now. Multiple no slide lock on last round and four problems with feeding properly. As it happened I tried to keep track and think it may have all been from the 6rd mag, but not the 7rd.

Any ideas?

Magtech factory fmj. Same ammo as the last outing when I had no feed problems. This is 220 rounds through the gun. Should I just give it more time?

I love the gun for it's accuracy, size, weight and trigger, but if I can't trust it -- well. I really want to keep the gun -- but.

You can try sending it back to kahr. They did have mine for close to 5 weeks .I have only had a chance to put 1 six round mag. through the gun ,but knock on wood it seemed to be fixed. (I will still do more testing).
Kahr replaced the barrel ,extractor, , recoil guide springs, and magazine springs.

I thought it was 400 rounds but after checking my records it was 500. When I called kahr for a return label they told me the gun was 1 day shy of a year old.

Hmm - OK. I have just never considered cleaning the magazine something that needed to be done frequently.

Just curious - do you clean the mags from your other guns after every firing or just the Kahr?
