You absolutely won't believe this but I was still beep m beeping as I opened this post. It seems to be stuck in my head and that ain't all that bad.

Before I was hung up on the Man on Fire movie where they kept playing Blue Bayou. Great movie.

I've been told I march to a different tune many times also. Maybe we're the only normal ones?

PM 40 and PM9 have a beginning different letter. I would say your PM40 is indeed a late model. I don't follow the PM40's like I do ther PM9. you might wantto chekc the kahr serial number thread to see if one is close to yous and its date of birth.

Not that it matter, as long as the gun goes bang.. I see on the kahr fourm on glock talk that a JA 44xx was born on Sept 09, so if your serial numbers are later tan that then you might be in the 2010 year.

u know over theyears kahr has made very very few changes to their model line. I know they have went from carbon steel to stainless, and then added the dlc finish, but I mean internally, they have done very little parts mods. To me this is a tribute to a well make product in the first place..

For some reason this thread is closed on Glocktalk, I was going to post my info.

Also, I registered with Glocktalk this morning, but I'm still not able to post, it says I have to be manually added by a moderator.

nickso, that is a weird bunch over there. I tried a dozen times to sign on, never succeeded, they never gave me any reason either. tried writing them, to no avail. if by chance he asks if u know jocko, just tell him or she no, u might get on then..!!!

Oh well, had a Glock and got rid of it. Guess I don't have a need to be there. Not paying a fee for a forum membership either.

This site and XDtalk will work.

                                Thanks.
