Nailed it on the head...
Nailed it on the head...and Bawanna wasn't here to see it. Didn't happen unless our junior leader was here to witness it!!"I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend."
(J.R.R.Tolkien, The Two Towers)

indeed, no doubt, if he was here, he would try to take credit for it, he is extremely wise u know????. My PM9 has over 34,000+ rounds through it, and runs much better than an illegal trying to get across our border

I just picked up a CW9 a few days ago (already cleaned and lubed per Jocko's sticky), judging from the serial# list, Im guessing mine was made this year, 2011, thats a nice surprise.

New member / new CW45 / Serial Number
Happy to be aboard...thank you. Just picked up my CW45 from my FFL yesterday (ordered from Cheaper than Dirt) and right away, not impressed with the build quality of the gun compared to my CM9. Serial number is SE0263. I noticed the slide didn't have the 2 dimples inside (to indicate new style sights); the rear of the trigger has jagged edges, the front tip is sharp, and the trigger itself wobbles left to right (lots of play), and the bottom of the mag well has scrapes and scrathches as if it was dropped. I called Cheaper than Dirt and asked what's up--was told all sales are final. I'm suspecting I just purchased and old stock from CTD. Please advise. Thank you.

Thanks for the advise JFootin. I did email CS and informed them of the issues with my new CW45, however, being Saturday, no one to read and reply to it. Wait 'til next week I guess. I also emailed Mr. Harris but only asked him about the dimples inside the slide, and in less than 2 hours, on a Saturday, I received a reply from him!!! Outstanding CS!!! He informed me that all of Kahr 45ACPs are produced with the new dovetail cuts, thus no dimples on the slides. Good-to-know info. I'm feeling much better already, I still have to deal with the loose, jagged, and sharp trigger though.
