  • I notice that you don't have a listing for the ANxxxx series K9s. My understanding is that they were a limited quantity production run (possibly only 50 pieces) with a hard-chrome finish, produced in 1998. Do you have any information on them?

        a K9 or a used P380??? I have not seen a K9 with the RC prefix.
        . My PM9 has over 34,000+ rounds through it, and runs much better than an illegal trying to get across our border

        • My bad! I have the p380. So far it shoots great. I know there were some issues with the earlier ones and wondered if I got lucky with an earlier one or if its just newer.

                  • I have the missing link to the serial number date "BA0xxx - K9 - awaiting date". I just bought this as NIB yesterday for $359 from my local LGS. Sent an email to Jay and in a minute he was back to me.
                    Serial = BA0376
                    Box has product code of K9090 on the label.

                    Good morning. This was made in July of 2000. It would not have the Elite trigger and if the slide is not stamped stainless then it is carbon steel.

                    • HI,
                      Just picked up my P380 yesterday.
                      Hope the info below helps people estimate their P380 manufacture date:-

                      My gun's Serial # is RD7___ Kahr told me it was manufactured in September 2014.

                      • I think the prefix of the 380 kahr was RA kand they change after 10K numbers toRB etc. so that wouldtellme ur 380 is at leat 47,000 in number. Just6 sayin

                          Wow, that's quite a few little Kahrs out there.
                          Hope mine will perform well and not have quite as many problems as the earlier 380's

                            • Replied in the other thread like this. I'm not sure if they two are independent of each other or which one is monitored. So, I'm posting the same here.

                              AD15XX - K9 - November 1995

                              My K9 is AD157X and the receipt in the box says it was purchased in 1997 but, (see below) MANUFACTURED NOVEMBER 1995.

                              UPDATE: I emailed Kahr and it took them all of 13 minutes to respond, on Christmas Eve no less. The gun was actually manufactured in November 1995, so it is a very early gun. The receipt I have does not indicate whether the gun was purchased new or used, but was purchased in April 1997 by the last owner of which I'm aware.

                              • Anyone have a very current K9 that they would not mind sharing the first 4 #'s of the serial number?
