There's no way that I'd dump a 380 that's known to be a reliable for a new P380. There are too many horror stories on here about P380's going in for repeated repairs. Mine has never worked reliably and is back at the "mothership" for the third time.

Kahr had problems with the frames on the P380s from serial #RA3XXX Through RC4XXX. Since then most of the problems seem to have been resolved. My CM9 functions flawlessly and is a joy to shoot. I won't give up my P3AT until the P380 proves itself reliable. Kahr builds quality firearms and stands behind their products. I have no qualms about buying a P380.
