I did that once. I had been sighting in my 45 carbine at 25 yards, and when I finished, I pulled the CW40 out of my holster; I didn't have the CW45 then. Anyway, I one handed a shot and nailed the one inch 10 ring dead center. I wasn't as smart as you, because I finished the mag. I didn't have another shot within an inch of that first one.

Awsome shooting! I too want some trijicon night sights for my cw. Are they easy to install yourself? I know I wouldn't have a problem with the front sight but the rear I'm not sure about.

I just bought my first Kahr a PM9 and went to the range with it for the first time yesterday. My Sigs have the bar and dot sights. I dot the i and the center of the dot should be the POI. My new Kahr seems to be set up the same way. I like that.
I must say I am very impressed with the Kahr. I shot 200 rounds of American Eagle 124gr and 50 rounds of Federal HST 124gr without a hiccup. The Kahr is just as accurate as my Glock 23 at 10yds. This was surprising. Once the PM9 is fully broken in and tested I believe it will be my new daily carry weapon.

I installed the front sight myself and sent the slide to Kahr to have the rear installed. I later found out that Kahr charges the same price whether they install one sight or both sights. Even though the front was very easy to install, if I had it to do over again I'd have them do both if only to quality for both being under warrantee.

So you have the best result aligning the top of your rear sight with the center of your front sight, am I correct? And, do you place this below the bullseye or center bullseye?

I need to shoot at a closer range to get a better feel for the exact sweet spot.

That's the normal POA=POI. That's why it's a good idea to practice a lot at the range. You start with POA=POI and adjust your aim as required... for your actual sights impacts... or your consistent shooting technique... as evidenced by your groupings.

Thanks, Markis', that's the classic POA=POI and great if that's where the bullets impact. In practice, based on your own groupings, you might be able to figure out what works for you, though, at the ranges you shoot... that's why we practice at the range.

I gotta become more familiar with the sweet spot on all of my pistols. Being able to transition smoothly from my three-dot pistols to my bar-dot pistols would be ideal. I really like the concept of the bar-dot, as I notice a quicker acquisition of aim.
