    did you get the take down pin thru th kidney hole? woudn't it do this if the pin were behind it?

      I think it that was true the slide would be way ouyt of battery to, more obvious, I don't think that is his problem. Just saying.

        So this method worked fine.

        It does seem to be the ammo. The OAL of the Hornady CD is within spec, less than 1.25". When I removed the barrel and drop a round in, it sticks and will not drop free when I invert the barrel. Federal Hydra Shocks do the same. The only round I have that drops free is a Federal 230 FMJ. The Hydra Shock is the shortest round, the 230 FMJ is the longest. The CD bullet has different profile, it does not narrow as fast as the FMJ.

          This should not be happening, though. I think Kahr needs to look at the chamber in that barrel being out of spec, and either fix it or replace the barrel.
