I sent my CW45 back to Kahr for warranty service today. Nosedives and the mag would not drop out (but only when the slide was locked open...??), and a list of things to check. Thanks to all here, especially Greg and Jocko, who helped me try to get it functioning well. I'm confident Kahr will send it back ready and able to go.

Wish you the best. Let us know how it goes.
You showed a lot of patience through the CW45 issues. The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

It was plenty accurate and I wouldn't mind having one anyhow, even now with the recall, they happen, they suck but they are part of life.
I know your CW45 will end up with a clean bill of health, I can feel it in my cells.http://bawanna45.wix.com/bawannas-grip-emporium#!

CW45 Back to Origin
My CW45 is a frigging sewing machine. Flawless after a short break in (had a couple FTE's in the first 50 rounds and no more many hundreds of rounds later). That said I shot a friends XDM-40 this weekend (the 5" model) and that was a sweet pistol. Put mucho holes very close together. Comes with a bunch of extra goodies too.

Well...
Got my CW45 back from Kahr. They said they reworked the barrel and replaced the recoil guide rod. No nose dives, but on round 2 and sometimes round 3 I'm getting a jam as shown in the pics. So I load 6 rounds into the mag, load the mag, release the slide, shoot, jam. Clear jam (round 2), sometimes get another jam (round 3) and sometimes shoot the rest of the mag just fine. It looks like the stripper on the bottom of the slide is caught in the groove in the brass casing. It's on its way back.Attached FilesLast edited by AFDoc; 10-31-2013, 02:35 PM.Those who hammer their guns into plowshares will plow for those that don't.

look at the kahrt tech secion under propper prepng of ur kahr, It talks about how to checkout that 2/3 round thing. U just ight have a mag release button grapping the follower in that exact area. easily fixable.. My PM9 has over 34,000+ rounds through it, and runs much better than an illegal trying to get across our border
