    Update from OP

Sorry I've been absent on my own thread. Time flies.

I decided to send it through the FFL. Cost just under $20. Total turn around time was about three weeks, but between hunting and other stuff I didn't have a chance to take it out until yesterday.

I put 120 rounds through it yesterday. 100 were reloads. Xtreme plated 230gr RN bullets over 6.0 grains of unique and an OAL of 1.24. Mixed brass, some of which has been reloaded and fired so many times you can barely read the headstamp. I had two that failed to chamber. Firm tap of the magazine baseplate caused the round to chamber and fire. Not sure what caused the hangups, but top suspects are the scuzzy brass, magazine issues, or possibly my recoil spring is getting old. I also ran 20 rounds of hornady 185 grain "zombie" ammo through it without a hitch.

Regarding the trigger bar, I couldn't notice a difference, which is exactly what I wanted.

I'm satisfied with the repair and its performance yesterday. Next i'm gonna put 100 rounds of either hornady critical defense or critical duty through it. If it passes this "SD ammo test," I'll put it in the CC rotation with my super reliable CM9.
