I know you're not referring to me as I haven't complained a bit, yet I get a bunch of yahoo responses from blow hard's that don't know jack....

MY THREAD STATES "FOR THOSE IN THE KNOW"

If you're clueless and have nothing positive to contribute please keep your opinions to yourselves... I'm trying to help others here for future reference, in the meantime I deal with this "small" delima with my 380...if you guys can't see past your huge internet ego and add something relevant to the thread, then simply move on....
    RIP Muggsy

Soooooo, I think I will leave the extractor alone for now and see how she performs next time out, which may be sooner then I think if I can talk the wife into finally shooting her LC9s.....
That's a good plan, I hope it works out for you.

Okay now that I checked and gun is going into battery I noticed some scratches on some new cases I was using, nice gouges after cycling the same ammo through a mag 3-4 full cycles of six... looked at the extractor and it had a nice gouge so out it came..

I tried to get a good pic of gouge but couldn't really show the depth..

I hit it with wd-40 starting with 400-2000 I rounded it out a touch where the gouge was, also hit some of the sharp edges on the inside ever so slightly

back on the gun with fingers crossed..

I cycled some brand new cases again around three full mags with same rounds, it now left minor scratches but nothing like before... every round went into battery handcycling....

Hopefully I can get her out this weekend for a test run.....
        RIP Muggsy

Between Gary, Jocko and I we know just about everything that there is to know about Kahr Pistols. If you knew what we know you wouldn't be asking for advice. In the future I won't offer any. As far as I'm concerned you're on your own. Hope things work out for you.

I wasn't referring to you in the least, you offered sound advice but I didn't think this little issue would merit returning it, I'd hate to find out that I should have yielded to your advice...
Take no offense to my post maybe the quote and the first sentence was an answer to your post but the rest that I wrote went towards those that want to derail or post nonsense in the thread..
Again I apologize if you took offense as I re-read it I could see why, sometimes its hard in text to get out what I mean and whom it is directed..
