    And that settles that.

It says rated to +P, not rated for +P. Better give Kahr a call to verify. They told me the Walther Match Grade barrels are rated for +P, but said the regular barrels are not.

Don't kill the messenger...I'm just worried that someone might lose an eye here.

Rated 'to' not 'up to'. No way their lawyer let that get out by accident.

That means that it's rated up to and including+P, but not +P+. No one is going to lose an eye. We all wear shooting glasses.

If you do 5 min of googling you could have found a review that's right on Kahrs site. In the review he did test +P amo

I have the P9 which does have the polygonal barrel but I know nothing about a Walther match grade barrel which sounds like a more precision "target" barrel and wouldn't have anything to do with pressure. I have shot XP out of it but usually just carry standard pressure rounds.

No that's not true.. if you look on Kahr's home page in the Q&A, it specifically states that all Kahr 9mm pistols are rated for +P ammo.

Kahr K series & P series come with a lothar-walther match grade polygonal barrel. Not to be confused with Walther arms...

No, standard military ball ammo is not +P. It is standard, anemic, punch-nice-holes-but-don't-actually-do-any-good-on-live-target ball, or full metal jacketed round nose. At least when I was working as a State Dept. Armorer in the middle east, I could carry 147 grain Hydrashok rounds in my Glock 19. A whole lot better than the M-9 with ball ammo.

Allow me to put it so that you can better understand me. Every effin' Kahr Pistol is +P rated including the P380. Try reading the manual. (Don't mind me I'm off my meds today.)

You wouldn't want to stand in the way of one of those anemic ball rounds, Doc. It could ruin your day.

Muggsy, I've taken one round in my leg, and came close to losing it. I don't think I want to be shot by ANYTHING again!

My GF's cat got into my ammo stash area. Little F'er. I mean I love 'em and all but can do without their little "gifts".

                            I'm hoping my PM45's are +PP rated.....
