Sparx, I had to smile when I read your post. My sister-in-law bought a P9 a while back and at the range she said it wouldn't shoot and was all over the place with the shots. Finally, she had me shoot it. I put 5 rounds fairly close together, about one inch low. She was used to shooting a Glock and wasn't familiar with the Kahr trigger. She was anticipating the shot and jerking it. Once she saw me shoot it and knew it wasn't the gun, but her, she started to do better. I normally shoot single action pistols but after a lot of practice I really like the Kahr trigger now. Give it another try and see if things change for you to the better.

CW 45 barrel question>> flaking chrome and poor accuracy

Well Friday I received a brand new barrel for my CW45. That is a 5 day turn around from the day I shipped the original barrel to Kahr.
That is excellent customer service.
After examining the new barrel there is no doubt that the other barrel was flaking plating.
I got a chance to fire the pistol today and function was 100% flawless with factory 230 grain RMC ball and my 230 grain lead rn reloads.
I have to say at 45 feet and bench resting the pistol I find accuracy to be lacking.
The trigger does have a long pull I but the grouping could be better.
I think this is where the upper grade Kahr with polygonal rifling come into play.
I am not faulting Kahr on this pistol, it is not a target weapon as we all know.
Again I would like to thank Kahr Customer Service for making good on this situation. Special thanks to Jocko for his assistance.

not really sparx. the cw willshoot just as good as the kahrs with the polygonal rifled barrels. trust me there is zero difference in accuracy and internal qualities to. Kahrs are jsut a tuff little bugger tomaster IMO. You hit the nal right ont he ol head with the loooong trigger system, but it is there by design. You willget much better wit more rounds down range to, you are just gettingused to this gun, give it and yourself a chance tomate up and you will surprise yourself. Theya re very accuract but I always felt because of the triger system, they are not match grade designed guns. Also not intended to be either. This is a gun that might someday save your life, so practice close, practice often and your groups will improve. Glad kahr did what they should have to.... My PM9 has over 34,000+ rounds through it, and runs much better than an illegal trying to get across our border

I agree Jocko. I actually shoot my M&P, XD, P220, and even the 24/7 better than the Kahrs. The P220 and 24/7 are DA/SA, the M&P is a shorter and lighter DA and the XD is actually a striker fired SA, but can get away with it because of the grip safety. My Sigma [since a factory trigger job] and S&W 4586 are closer to the Kahrs, and I shoot them about the same.
If I shot the Kahr's more, I would get more use to the trigger and shoot them better. However, they are primarily defense guns, and if I ever had to use them that way, the trigger pull would probably be the last thing on my mind.
