  • Do all CW 45s Shoot Low?

Noted from a couple of good reviewers that the CW 45 shoots low at 10 yards. IS that the normal case with these guns? I would assume the same from the P45 because they have a similar sight picture. Thanks.

Mine shoots spot on. I’ve never had any problem with it shooting low.
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

Mine are spot on as well, cw, p, pm, 45s. I can even hit the bullseye when i get lucky (shakiest hands in the east).
In memory of great-grammy; never understood a word she yelled in polish, but we all knew what she meant.

The further away from Philly I get, the less I shake.

That hasn't been the case with mine. Here's something I posted in September of last year about my CW45 (the Gold Dots were fired offhand from 10 yds.)

Well, today I was carrying it when I went to the indoor range, so I thought I'd just put a magazine worth of Gold Dots on paper with it. Darn gun never disappoints:

It's still my favorite of the Kahr pistols I own:

I do have the Trijicon night sights that Kahr offers on my CW45: http://www.kahrtalk.com/showthread.p...760#post184760

Thanks guys. Maybe the reviewers are newbs to DAO and have trouble shooting POA.

Gents: thanks for the reports AND pics. How is CW 45 reliability?

My CW45 is still relatively new with about 400 rounds through it.

It just functions effortlessly - seems almost slow motion. It's very mild mannered, and it's impossible for me to not like it. Never a hint of a malfunction.

It would make a great choice for a first time Kahr owner, and the value is really impressive.

I put the Trijicon front night sight from Kahr on mine. Doesn't get any easier to install - took all of 10 minutes to do.

My LGS owner's wife doesn't like Kahrs because she struggles to rack their slides. Even she likes the CW45, and has no problem racking the slide on it. It's just user friendly all around.

I had some issues (dropped mags and intermittent slide lock back) early on with mine, but it's been perfect since (going on 8 years).
Kahr was quick to send a replacement magazine latch which fixed the dropped mags.
The slide lock thing was fixed by adjusting the slide lock spring screw.
My gun also had short front rails and though, I didn't have any stoppages due to this, Kahr replaced the frame.
My CW45 is one of my favorites of all the guns I own.
                      Regards,
                      Greg

I'd like to mention that it even runs shot shells reliably
