I feed my Kahr the Polycase Inceptor ammo. Always reliable and manageable recoil.

I’d like to try this ammo too but I’ve never found it on the shelf.

        mpgo4th,

Ventura Munitions has 250 rounds of Ruger ARX ammo for $87.50. Great stuff.

Full disclosure. I can create a hole the size of a half-dollar using the Ruger ARX ammo at 7yards with my wife’s S&W Shield 380EZ, right where I aim.
My Kahr P380 consistently hits 2” high and left at the same distance, with the Ruger ARX ammo. Using Corbon Pow’r Ball or Glaser Safety Slug, I can hit a half-dollar at 7 yards, so I carry Pow’r Ball in the P380.

Academy has them, usually, for around 19.99 a box. Free shipping over 25.

I purchased the last batch from a local mom and pop shop who ordered some in for the same price + tax.

My choice too. At that price I can afford to practice with my carry ammo.

I'm no pro, but I'm more accurate with my CW380 than any pocket gun and most larger pistols. Its a long pull, but so smooth. Try gripping the sh!t out of it especially with your dominant hand BEFORE you begin to squeeze the trigger, and just hold that way as only your trigger finger moves. Once you start, keep the finger moving til the gun goes off.
            Rest in peace Muggsy

I'm using 90 grain Speer Gold Dots #23606. Proven bullet design.

In 380, after trying just about everything, I now carry PrecisionOne Plus P. I personally do not like the ballistics of ARX in 380, but do like ARX Plus P in my 9mm. I also use ARX in my 38 snub.

My method of carry for the P380 is the Desantis Nemesis pocket holster. My choice of ammunition jumps back and forth between Hornady Custom, Sig V-Crown and Speer GDHP.

Mine changes too as I shoot for practice. I’m always using my range ammo with whatever I was carrying fired first. Currently it’s Federal Hydra-shok.

I carry Hornady Custom XTP in my .380's, and Federal Hydra Shok in my Seecamp .32.

Prior to selling my CW380 for a CM9 I used corbon-380-acp-70gr-powrball.jpg Cycled without failures and was very accurate.

I'm thinking of ordering a couple boxes of Black Hills Honey Badger to try in my CT380. Heard some good reports and a friend uses that bullet in .38 Special. Anyone tried them?

I tried them in my CT380 and I had one failure to feed out of 20 rounds.

My CT380 cycles Lehigh Xtreme Defense and Penetrator with no issues at all and that’s what I carry.

While both Lehigh and Black Hills use Lehigh bullets, the Honey Badger bullet shape is a little different and the OAL of the cartridge is longer. In my one instance of failure, the cartridge jammed on the feed ramp and would not chamber.

Inceptor ARX on the left, Lehigh in the middle, Black Hills on the right.

I know New Jersey has hollow points illegal, but are Lehigh Xtreme Defense and Penetrator considered legal or illegal?

I guess I am really out of it. Still carrying Buffalo Bore 90 grain jacketed hollow point +P. Dan
