jocko - pretty much knew that you were, no problem. Your input and advice has always been good.
On the internet, the number of posts do not correlate to actual knowledge.
The notch is supposed to be there as well as the bulge at the front of the frame!

In a whoa situation, its gonna happen fast.

jocko - the bang is the most important part. But sometimes you got to just practice with holding the gun still and working the trigger. Especially since SWMBO won't let me fire the guns off in the house.
I always shoot my sp101 in DA, and yes I too shoot a lot better that way. As far as not bullseye pistols I tend to think the other way! At least at 30ft in a 3" circle with 357 rapid fire DA.

Congratulations on your new CW9. it has become my favorite pistol. I liked it so much I bought a CW45 that is my nightstand companion. I carry the CW9 with a CT laser in a High Noon Mr. Softy iwb holster. Keep practicing, the trigger pull on these guns is very sweet when you get the hang of it.

I have owned a CW9 for six months and absolutely love it...Yes, the trigger does take some 'getting use to. " After a period of time, you will find that it is a very easy trigger to control and very similiar to a smooth double action revolver.

IMHO it is the best small pistol for concealed carry on the market.
