What I find the most comfortable for me is a Jeff Hays pancake OWB holster at the 1:30. I also have a Hays for my LCP and PX4 SC .40 No I am not related in any way to Jeff Hays. I attached a pic of the Hays with my PX4 much heavier firearm.

      Ankle Holster choices

With ankle holsters for super comfortable wear all day pistol does not move around at all at reasonable price try the Desantis. Only problem is it has a thumb break so the draw is a little slow.

For faster draw with no thumb break but the pistol wiggles around if you walk fast or run and is very inexpensive get the Fobus. It has no thumb break, does not need one and the draw is the fastest ankle rig I have ever tried.

Many others available, I only write about what I have used alot.

If you are less concerned about hiding it than getting if on an off paddle holsters are nice. The Fobus is very inexpensive but does not hold the pistol in tight like a pancake.

Thanks for all the help. I made my choice tonight and went with PJ Holsters. I contacted him, Crossbreed, and Highnoon holsters. Paul was by far the most helpful with the best customer service. I had a hard time narrowing my decision and he was very helpful in picking a holster to best fit my needs. So I will see how my choice goes in about 2 weeks but so far I am confident in my decision. I did also guy a galco ankle glove to have more options to carry and for better comfort carrying in a vehicle. Between these 2 holters and my OWB holster I should have some good options to pick from.

This is also how I've been carrying my cm9 using a DIY kydex pocket holster here.
I used a belly band before that for inside the waist band and it is easy very concealable and comfortable all day with a CM9 but pocket carry is more convenient.
I tried out a buddies desantis with his pf9 and it worked well also.

I have this holster for my Ruger LCP & hate it. The clip is too stiff & the mouth opening of the holster is very wide & stiff due to the double leather band. The holster never conformed to the LCP. I have a CM9 on order and will more than likely get the PJHolster that has received all the raves. You can do way better than the Sof-Tuck!

Shoulder Holsters: A serious and thorough assessment!

I borrowed this post from the Walther Forum. The man is speaking from experience.
I am a former large city policeman and a retired Special Agent with a U.S. Department of Justice agency. Other than when in uniform as a city officer, I only wore shoulder holsters. My primary reason was than I simply didn't like the weight of any firearm and holster on my belt/waist. There are many advantages of wearing one and I'm pleased to share them with you.

First, let me assure you that shoulder holsters are "for real" and extremely practical . . I can draw and come on target as fast as I can drawing and coming on target using a traditional holster. Some of the advantages . . . they are much more concealable than a waist holster . . . in the 30 years I wore one, I NEVER had anyone observe that I was wearing it. My ankle holster was spotted by a passenger on an airplane . . and fortunately she was discreet, notifying only the flight attendant, who discretely informed that I was authorized and a federal agent (whew). Other people don't bump into it in crowded situations . . it doesn't bang into door jams, etc. in close quarters . . . no bulges or protruding handles . . . additionally, you don't have the weight of the extra magazine pouches on your waist . . they "counterbalance" the rig by being under your right arm (and easily assessable . . . because the magazine holder and holster have attachments that secure them to your belt (on each side), that resistance of the holster adds to the speed and smoothness of the draw . . and it is, and feels much more secure!

As for the "crossing your body" consideration when drawing . . you don't quite reach that far . . you are not reaching nearly as far . . your right hand travels approximately as far as your left nipple, and you'll find that you instinctively turn away at the waist as you draw . . from a standing position I can draw and shoot in 1 second . . and shoot accurately . . . most shooters, interested in being proficient (not average) with their weapon can easily master 1 second.

Finally, if someone was to search you for your gun, they would instinctively feel around your right hip . . maybe your left . . you could actually protect your gun by pulling your elbow into it . . . you simply have more control over it in a shoulder holster.

                I strongly recommend that if you purchase a shoulder holster, you purchase a Galco . . not a $37.00 cloth generic . . . your life may depend on it . . mine did . . twice . . .

I am the president of my own law enforcement training and consulting company, "Strategies for Officer Survival (SOS)" If you or anyone have any questions regarding police/law enforcement tactics, practices and equipment, please ask me . . I always have an opinion and have countless resources to find out anything that I am not familiar with. Good luck, stay safe, and remember "Be First, Be Fast." Jim

just had my CM9 in my uncle mikes #36 iwb holder (8936-2 LH), right in the center of my back this is where i always carry mine.
fits the holder like a glove & is very smooth inside & out, so you have no worries about showing wear on the gun or rubbing your skin to the point of irratation.
this is a clip on holder not a belt loop, so you can place anywhere in seconds.
was very fortunate to run across this @ a local gun show a few months back for $5.

I have a Sof-Tuck for my CW40, and while the clip is very stiff, and not easy to get on, once in place, it's pretty comfortable. I like it because of it's versatility, there are so many ways you can wear this holster. I like to wear it about about 4:00 with the the gun handle riding up my back at about a 45 degree angle. The holster is designed for the CW9 and I had to wrap my CW40 in freezer bag and leave it in their a few days to stretch out, and now it works great. There are I'm sure much more comfortable holsters out there, but I couldn't find one that offers the flexibiliy the soft-tuck gives you. You can use it for small of back, cross draw, or strong side carry. It's not my fave for appendix carry.

Yes, I pocket carry in an Uncle Mike's number 4 pocket holster. On the belt I'm using a JIT-Slide. Both are very comfortable. YMMV. tom.

The pancake holster pulls the gun tight to the body with a good solid gun belt. Obviously, wearing OWB only works if you are wearing a less than tight fitting shirt that is not tucked in.

Not sure how you normally dress, but a pocket holster may also be an option if you have large enough pockets. Harder to get at if you need the gun, but very comfortable.
Where did you get an owb pancake for the cm9?

I tried lots of holsters and settled on a smartcarry. I have been in between sizes for awhile now and the larger size works well for it.
I wear it over a tucked shirt and let the tail of the shirt go over the strap.
Letting the belt out 1 notch and I can get to it fine.

I've gotten around to getting a Remora and I'm enjoying it. Still waiting for my Mika to arrive but the Remora is versatile and comfortable all around - pocket, appendix, and waistband.
