It really depends on the size of the pocket. I've no problems with my CW9 when wearing cargo shorts or other pants that have larger pockets. However, that being said, if the CM9 would have been available when I got my CW9, I would have bought it.

BTW - using the 7 round mag for the CM9 kind of defeats the purpose of the gun to be able to be pocket carried easily.

The notch is supposed to be there as well as the bulge at the front of the frame!

oh it can be done but the c9 does a much better job in that area of carry. If I was gonna waiste band carry it wold be the cw for the one more round thing..
. My PM9 has over 34,000+ rounds through it, and runs much better than an illegal trying to get across our border

I agree with this. I carry the CM9 with 6+1 in chamber. I carry the 7 rounders as spares. Whether IWB or pocket, the 7 rounder sticks out too far.
I've lost my memory, and I can't remember where I put it.

I find the CW to be more comfortable to hold, but for me, concealability (whether in a pocket holster or on the waist band) is more important, so I went with the CM. No regrets.

            CM9 to conceal

I have both. While I recognize that the grip size may be an issue for some people, it has not been for me over a few thousand rounds. Whether my pinky goes around or under affects neither speed nor accuracy. For Kahrs, I think the central issue is to learn the trigger pull. There is a noticeable difference in how they conceal in an IWB holster on my 5'7", 145 lb., boxer's body. The CM9 is much better. Also, while not ideal, the CM9 is marginally pocketable in some pants. The CW9 needs a winter coat pocket. Your size and shape may vary.

I wanted a CM9 and couldn't find one so I bought a CW9. I broke it in and was happy. My daughter wanted it for CCW so I gave it to her. I went out to replace the CW9 and found the CM9 at a good price and snapped it up. I broke it in and it is now my EDC pistol in a pocket holster. Both are great values but my bottom line is I would have been happy either way. YMMV. tom.

i have big hands but i still preferred the CM alot better, for this simple fact of the ease of cc.
even though the CW fit my hand completely i do not regret the CM purchase, i just picked up a few 7rd mags (mk720) for the range.
now you still have the full feel of the CW, but the perfect cc either in a holster or your pocket.
