575 round update
I put 200 rounds of UMC Ball thru it today. Round count is now 575.
Again no problems with feeding or extraction. I did have quite a few empty brass hit my forehead after I passed 100 rounds.
Don't know if I was tiring or the gun was getting dirty.
Remington UMC has got to be the dirtiest ammo loaded in the US.
Methinks they use "flammable dirt" (Unique).
Functions and groups fine, just a pain to clean the gun.
There is a fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness".

Nice shooting, Snuffy.
For Comparison here are 3 Remington .45 ACP loads, all 230-grains: Rem Bonded Golden Saber, GS, and UMC FMJ. I included 3 of the brightest UMC pix for comparison.
Dang, you can use Unique to load almost anything... pistol, shotgun... never did rifle, though.

PM45 Sale Price
Mine was tagged at $760 new. It is now my main carry gun for the summer. I carry it in one of those Cell Pal holsters that works with it having the CT laser sight installed. Having read several magazine articles about the PM45 I was a little concerned about how the writers described the recoil as being severe. I have fired mine with everything from 230FMJ to +P HP and have found the recoil very manageable, in fact, more manageable than a full sized Glock in 40 S&W.
