After procrastinating another month I ordered a pj holster for the PM9. I am certainly happy that I did, excellent fit and finish are expected and received with Paul's holsters. The wait time has been reduced to 4 weeks.

If not in the Remora the PM9 is in the pjholster when more security is required. The holster could actually pay for itself, now I have half a dozen holsters that could be sold though I will keep the Don Hume pancake for the days I'm feeling fat.

I bought a lined remora for my CM9 with a CT lasergard a couple of months ago. They also threw in a free mag pouch. So far I can't say I like either product. Neither seem too secure, the magazine will climb out of the pouch over time (it's never completely escaped yet). I've tried the holster both IWB and between the belt and jeans, the gun feels like it could fall out both ways. Maybe I should have skipped the lining.
I do have a N82 for my Ruger P95 double stack and I really like how that feels, secure and comfortable for a large gun. That said, I am probably going to buy a N82 for my CM9.

I prefer to have a PJ Holster but the wait is something like 9 or 10 weeks and, well, I'm not as young as I used to be.
Try waiting 16-20 for a Milt Sparks. They're currently at 8-12

Zorn Holsters, skinny rig. Kydex IWB with tuckable offset belt clip. Comfortable and low profile. Sometimes have one for a CM9 in stock. If not the turn around is about a month; even then it is still worth the wait. I have a couple of these for different pistols. Use them all the time over other holsters I have for these weapons. Nate, the owner, is great to work with.

I checked out Zorn Holsters, looking for a skinny rig for my CW9. However, they do not list any Kahr firearms. Am I wrong? I hope so.

Give Nate a call and see what he can do for you. When I originally looked at his site, he did not have the CM9 listed but when I called he actually had a couple in stock. It is a great IWB holster for the Kahr.

So far, I've been using the 11 Gear holster that came with my firearm, and so far, it is working well. I prefer leather, but this holster is better than I thought it would be, and the retention adjustment is a plus and works well also.

You should not use that holster for two reasons: the muzzle and front sight are exposed to damage (FO fronts are easy to break) and the gun can be pressed upward when you sit. This can expose the trigger to foreign objects (especially jacket stays). A man shot through his car seat when his worn out leather slide holster worked its way into the trigger guard. His movements caused enough pressure on the trigger for it to fire.

Get a proper holster for carry. It will fully cover the gun and trigger. It will be relieved around the tang so you can get a solid grip every time (this eliminates Crossbreed holsters and copies). It should have a sweat shield for comfort and protection. It should not collapse when the gun is removed and should have forward cant for concealment and proper placement when you crouch during a fight.

First of all, I have plenty of front optics, should I have an issue, which I haven't................second of all, the trigger is never exposed, the firearm is locked into place with retention............third, it is a proper holster for carry, I can get a solid grip every time. Fourth, I don't need a sweat shield, because the firearm never touches my body..........................If you knew anything about firearms, you should realize that even if my trigger were to become depressed, which it won't because it's cocked and locked, it will not fire without the grip safety being depressed. I'm too old to crouch, and don't have an issue with any cant................anything else you want to learn me?

Carry how you want. Only fools rely upon a safety mechanism and a pressure retention device. You are obviously a master of the 10 gun safety rules. Never mind that professional trainers do not recommend the holster type you are using. You clearly have more experience than the likes of Farnam, Givens, Ayoob and others.

If you think you will not crouch...I do not know how to respond. I guess you are so well trained, and have been in so many gun fights, that you should have your own subforum to teach us your secrets.

Only fools come on a site and spout their great knowledge, without knowing how a 1911 firearm works. I am still alive, so I must be a master to some degree in safety rules................been shooting since I was 10, and 50 years later I'm still here. You keep reading your books, and watching your tube vids...............I rely on 50 yrs. of experience....................what do you rely on?????????????????? Must be from the Glock forum, they know everything, and love firearms without safeties, and dangerous triggers. I will carry how I want, and I can guarantee you, that there are plenty of 1911 owners who could draw their firearm, and take care of their business in a heartbeat. I guess that you've been in many a gunfight yourself, so I will digress to your great wealth of knowledge. Me, I'll just stay alive. I also believe that you are a troll, and have no business telling anyone anything. The Glock forum loves members like you....................................I also carry this..........some of us are proficient with more than one type firearm.

You are violating one of the gun safety rules by relying upon a mechanical device if that holster fails. Your holster is not up to the task of defensive carry; it is for range use at best. You are responsible for every bullet that gun fires and negligent discharges have occurred with that type of holster. Relying upon a safety mechanism is NOT good practice. All fifty years of experience means is that you should know better. A rational man would review my comment within its context, objectively evaluate the gear in question and make an assessment of the situation in light of the safety rule. Instead, you immediately went on the attack with an emotionally based rant and personal attack.
