PM9 Spotted Barrel

I had spots like that on my K40 frame when I got it used. I cleaned it with a green plastic scrubber and a product called "Barkeepers Friend" that I got from Bed Bath and Beyond. It's meant to clean stainless steel appliances without scratching. Just gentle hand pressure. You could try that or any of the other methods you find on here for how members cleaned stainless frames or polished barrels. Good luck.O|||||||O

I believe that all Kahr Barrels are nickel plated after they are bead blasted, but I'm just a dummy. As Jocko if you don't believe me.

My understanding is the barrel is nickel plated. Here are some methods to clean nickel with out bead blasting it off. But, since it is stainless under the nickel, it probably won't matter if you remove it.

I don't know, but I've been told that the spotted barrel is on the endangered species list and shouldn't be disturbed. It hides within the confines of the slide and only make a brief appearance when fired. Jocko tells me it's like a sore dick and shouldn't be fokked with. Just sayin'. (Fellas, that one might be a tad over the line, so if you don't hear from me for awhile you'll know where I've gone.)Never trust anyone who doesn't trust you to own a gun.
