Reminds me of my old construction days BC. (before chair). I had a third bag specially made for my officers model Colt and 2 extra mags. Had a flap that sealed pretty well to keep sawdust and stuff out. Worked pretty well. I went to work for a company that a friend worked for. He got called into the main office cause the owner heard I carried a gun. He asked my friend if this was so, he said it was indeed true. The owner asked if he felt I'd actually shoot anyone? His reply was the classic, "only if they really deserved to be shot".
A few days later I got called in to the big office. He asked me also if I carried a gun to which I admited I did. I told him if it was an issue we could discuss it. He said it was absolutely not a problem. I mentioned he must be concerned since he called me in to talk about it. I think he just wanted confirmation or something. It was never brought up again. I did seem to end up on all the jobs in crappy neighborhoods. Go figure.
I got another story about this but I'll save it for another time, I don't want to be labeled a bucket mouth.

Yeah right, walking around money. Not for many many years. Good thought though, maybe someone could suggest that concept to my wife.

      B. sorry 'bout that "walking around money" crack....I forgot about your Pontiac.

I work on yachts so don't wear a set of bags anymore. Over twenty years now. Problem is that kind of work puts you in numerous awkward positions. Water front being what it is nowdays what with pirates, drug runners and assorted riff/raff.....I want to be sure I'm always carrying.

Here's my PM40 in an old IWB Galco of some sort that started out life with a belt clip and was home to my Dad's old J-Frame.

I cut the belt clip off and re-shaped the holster with a razor blade and it now fits the bill perfectly in the lightest weight shorts, dress slacks, to my trusty Levi's.

It rided in either my right front pocket or right rear pocket.

Yeah, it's a bit heavier than my LCP, but 40 is sporty.

Love means never having to say your sorry. I didn't even think about the pontiac. I do cry about the lack of rolling around money.
Working on yachts would be tough. Nothing square or straight on the whole boat. Helped my father in law some on a sailboat. Challenging indeed.
I've seen alot of stuff ruined from sloppy carpenters wearing tool belts. I spent alot of time getting mine rigged right and hated to work without them but sometimes in the finish stages you had to leave em behind, course never the Colt. Why I liked framing alot, I'm a wood butcher at heart, the guys would laugh at me now making grips but sawdust is sawdust. Course ebony's a little pricier sawdust than fir.

dirty_sanchez, I have a couple holsters just like that, I never pocket carry but occasionally I use em IWB or I did before someone inflated my spare tire. I gotta work on that.

You're right "sawdust is sawdust" and making grips for the K and MK series Kahrs is just as challenging as cabinet/furniture making. That's why I decided to buy factory ones and reshape them to what I was looking for. BTW, I would really like a set of ebony grips for that K9. The reason I stained the ones I have is because I wanted them darker to blend in better with the blackened stainless. I now wish I had stained them blacker.

Dirty, nice job recycling unused stuff to make work for current needs. I think I have one of those left over from my Keltec .380, which I no longer own.

              Hidden Holsters

I carry my PM9 on a pocket holster by Hidden Holsters, this is the one I use 70 % of the time, the rest of the time I have IWB by DMBullard.
Even with jeans is pretty comfy and prints like a PDA, I really like it in fact I hardly use my other pocket holsters.

Why is it that every time there is a shooting spree they want to take the guns away from the people that didn't do it? :59:

I guess it would depend on the day and the speedo of course. My PM45 rides with me in one form or another nekkid or clothed, don't matter.
I don't pocket carry anything so I'm no expert on that issue or "Fat A$$'s" now if you want to talk about over inflated spare tires, I'm your man or some would say half man. Half what else is yet to be determined. Dog?
Post some shots of those speedo's would ya?

ryoung, already changed my dress to accomodate IWB ( that means bigger size waist pants and belt ), which is good for me about 80% of the time. I tried a wimpy .380 Keltec years ago in my regular sized pants and never could fit that thing in my Levi's front pocket comfortably.

Bought a PM9 today and have a Nemisis holster on the way. So I'll be trying this pocket carry method again next week. Now that I wear "fat boy" pants, it should work..

dusty. idk if you prefer them or not, but i can easily accommodate my PM40 into a pair of polo chino shorts, and it all but disapears in a wrb pocket holster (like nemisis). though i wouldn't recommend anything much tighter fitting than these casual shorts for pocket carry. then again, with winter coming around im sure your PM9 will feel nice and cozy in your roomy "fat boys"

hope you enjoy your new purchase

. My PM9 has over 34,000+ rounds through it, and runs much better than an illegal trying to get across our border

Thanks for tip on the NRA store and the 5.11 shirt holster. Might be good for winter carry here in Texas.

I bought one of those a year ago. I haven't used it much, but when I did, it worked fine with the PM45. Maybe it will get more use when I get a PM9.

Ditto here. I bought one also at Jocko's recommendation. I also don't wear it often but I've found that it will carry just about anything. My PM45 gets lost in it, I've tried my full size 1911's without problems.
I bet Jeepsters new Desert Eagle 50 would fit fine, might sag a little but I got a few sags here and there, who would notice.
Hey, maybe mom would let me get a 50AE so I can try the shirt holster. I haven't tried that scam before.

I just have a cheap Uncle Mike's holster and it does the job well enough for me.

Yeah, I usually carry my PM45 in an Uncle Mikes #4.
